ED002 On this whole Walcott link is there any interest at all one reason could be he is a homegrown player another would be he is cheap and with it looking like Cole Lampard and Sturridge will leave we need to start buying some homegrown players? {Ed002's Note - If there is interest, and I am no means sure that there is, I can only think that being HG counts for much.}

Ed, do Chelsea have a interest Gomis of Lyon?

Was it to see Gomis or another player ED? {Ed002's Note - I really don't know. All I did was check to see if somebody went and he did.}
I think Gomis would be an odd choice. He's 27 and could only be described as anywhere near prolific for this season. His previous seasons returns appear to have been very average.

ED002 a couple of questions
1) Will we wait until we sign a striker before we sell Sturridge to Liverpool surely we will let him go until we have a replacement?
2) Have any Centrel Midfielders been discussed as possible signings in January we are so light in that position?
BLEUBLOOD {Ed002's Note - (1) I would not want to get in to any timing related issues but if Sturridge is to move the club will want it agreed as early as possible. Regardless of that Chelsea are looking at bringing in two forwards. (2) There were discussions planned for this past week - and I have no doubt that the focus will continue to be obtaining the right players are the focus rather than the timing of transfers.}
ED regarding Paulinho you said there could be news this week or early next is there anything to report?

Are Chelsea one of the interested clubs in Mauro Caballero? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea and Bayern Munich had representatives looking at Paraguay's Mauro Caballero at the March 2011 CONMEBOL in Ecuador. His performances, particularly in a qualifying game against Chile, were seen to be impressive and he is one of a number of players from that tournament that the club are aware of or have shown interest in. Offers from Benfica and Inter Milan are both complex in nature with one a part ownership deal and the other a part ownership deal involving three other players as well. If a move in January begins to look likely I would suspect that Chelsea and Bayern Munich might rekindle their interest with offers that include leaving him on loan for a while, and cash offers could be made by both Manchester City and Palermo who have looked at the player but not followed up their interest.}

From the small amount i have seen of him marin looks like a good player so why arent we playing him and if his lack if game time continues do you see him leaving on a loan or permenantly in january ed? {Ed002's Note - He was injured for much of the opening part of the season.}

How is kalas, mceachran, hutchinson, bruma and de bruyne all doing at the moment? {Ed002's Note - If you go to the Club site you may find a weekly update - I think they still do it.}
Kalas has been getting good time at vitesse but playing as a right fullback. McEachran has been a key cog in getting Middlesbrough into the top four. I want to say Hutchinson was hurt recently but was getting a decent amount of games. I'm honestly not sure about Bruma but ed002 has said that he's not really any of our concern anymore. And finally de bruyne has been fantastic for werder Bremen. Hopefully that helps.
