Hi Ed just like to say keep going with the good work. Breaking news straight from the bridge Real Madrid have made a bid in excess of 35 million for Mikel the chelsea legend , please say this will not happen ive just bought the chelsea top with him the back. Whats the latest ?

Samir {Ed018's Note- you trying to wind everyone up}

Believable6 Unbelievable1

FFS STOP IMPERSONATING ME!! God sakes.

ED, surely there is something you can do? Thanks

Samir {Ed002's Note - You should include an address in the email field. Then we know it is you.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love it if that was true... But more than likely we'd have to pay Madrid to take him away from us plus keep playing his wages!

Ash {Ed018's Note - it's obviously not true and had i known someone signed Samir's name falsely, i wouldve just deleted the post}

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh I know that Ed... I just wish it was true!

Ash

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be happy if it was a £3.5M bid

ED002 reports say Juventus have agreed to sign Llorente is this correct? Also have Bayern really agreed to sign Javi Martinez? {Ed002's Note - AB and Jueventus have been in talks over Llorente. Martinez will move to BM.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Wow thats the signing of the summer for me is that a done deal then ED martinez to munich? {Ed002's Note - Wasn't what I typed clear?}

Hi Ed,

Can you comment on what players Chelsea are looking to offload before deadline and how much effort is really being put into this. We here so much about targets just wondering how hard we are pressing to get likes of BenAyoun, Mereilles, Malouda, and possibly Essien ( eventhough I would rather it be Mikel etc.. off the books. If they could accomplish this we could possibly look then for a young midfield destroyer like M'Villa to solidify our defensive midfield. {Ed002's Note - YB and RM will probably leave. FM is looking for a new club - ideally for two years in Brazil before a move to Dijon.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Correct me if i am wrong but is the Brazilian international transfer window closed?
Thanks
James {Ed002's Note - If he can find a club he would be moving as a free agent, so the window is not an issue.}

Ed can you please clear up Moses situation for us all. Has he had medical for us? Also how comfortable are you we will sign him and if so when do you foresee it happening? {Ed002's Note - There is no situation. Don't read Twitter and you won't have all of this stress.}

Why did we ever let Borini go?Why are all our transfers always taking so long? And why is Mikel still a Chelsea player?

When i wake up every morning these are questions that i ask myself...why,why,why?? {Ed002's Note - Borini left because he would not sign a new contract because Chelsea would not assure him of playing time.}

Dude go to bed its past your bed time.

Hi Ed, I know it's been said a thousand times but really appreciate your honesty and good work. Was wondering if Chelsea would consider City's striker Eden Dzecko ( not sure correct spelling). Proven goal scorer in league and seems to be available for around 25 mil. Would be a great purchase and city wants him off books. I think he would be fine playing behind Torres and would partner up nice with him? Why have we not been interested in him?? {Ed002's Note - There is no interest.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

If he was that good why does man city want rid.

And play behind Tores you having a laugh

Just watched the SSN interview with Dave Whelan (top bloke) he clearly states that he's given Chelsea a price and it's now up to us to stop messing about and just decide yes or no to whether we want to pay it or not. We have not decided yet {Ed002's Note - There has been rather too much screwing around by someone on this.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed can I please have your thoughts. I fully support not being held for ransom in cases like Cavani and Hulk. I don't understant however squabbling over a lousy half or million dollars in cases of Moses or Azpilicueta when we are desperated to get both into camp. Seems we need to pick our fights better. Need to get a right back in before deadline. Ivan good to fill in but can't possibly be our everyday right back. Why don't we close and move on, where would we get a quality right back at a better bargain?? Your thoughts Ed. {Ed002's Note - The amounts are larger than that but as you say not significant. It appears to be one person being difficult.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Is his name Dave Whelan?

Blue25 {Ed002's Note - No.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Top bloke? He's a clown who will do whatever it takes to get himself interviewed and on TV. It seems the concept of conducting business in private is alien to Whelan.

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean ed? {Ed002's Note - The statements appear pretty clear to me.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Who are you alluding to, Ed? Whelan? Or someone from our side. {Ed002's Note - What would you think Whelan has to do with Azpilicueta?}

Agree0 Disagree0

The screwing around is by Chelsea and I can't understand why,the difference is by 1/2m when have Chelsea ever worried about paying such a low difference
With RVP going to man united Chelsea still got some work to do or we will be struggling to get to 4th again.
Drebs

Agree0 Disagree0

Whelan is a very honest bloke and what he has done at Wigan is phenomenal. The backing and connection he has with Martinez is also extremely admirable. One of the nicest blokes in football

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed,do you feel that the person being difficult over not so significant amounts of money will stop because we really need a right back and some cover up front?Thank you. {Ed002's Note - Things will get resolved one way or another.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I suspect we are waiting on Hulk before going for Moses
GJ {Ed002's Note - The two are unrelated.}

Hi ED! are there any interest in Falcao from Chelsea? Keep up the good work! {Ed002's Note - Yes but an approach was rejected sometime ago with the "not for sale" flag being waved. There is one influential character from the Chelsea camp who feels that Falcao needs to learn to play with his back to the goal before he will hit the top of the game.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Any chance in telling us who it is ? {Ed002's Note - I don't think it would help.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I know how that is its emenalo {Ed002's Note - No it is not.}

Agree0 Disagree0

That's is one of the stupidest things I've be heard!! Falcao is one of the best strikers in the world at holding up the ball, and dropping deep to receive it with his back to goal. He is ten times any other striker we are linked with. Better than Cavani and Schurrle! If this is true nothing has ever made me so angry on this site!
MB

Agree0 Disagree0

Does John Terry ever have a say in transfers? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Agree0 Disagree0

U can't say that and then not tell us Ed, c'mon we want to know! {Ed002's Note - What is it you want to know?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Who at Chelsea has their doubts about Falcao? {Ed002's Note - It is unimportant who it is.}

hey ed,has the team management considered playing luiz in the defensive midfield role??he looks a very good fit in that position if you actually give it a thought....just need to know your thoughts on this. {Ed002's Note - That I don't know. Sorry.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

15 Aug 2012 18:35:37
Do Chelsea have any interest in van persie? he is a premiership player and wouldn't take to long to settle in. he would be cheaper than both Hulk and cavani. thanks {Ed018's Note - There is no interest in Van Persie}

Believable0 Unbelievable3

He's agreed a transfer to Man Utd.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rvp to man u by friday, deal pretty much done at 24mill

Hi Ed, is it true that Azpilicueta may not sign now until next week due to some Family problems? Many Thanks. {Ed002's Note - No idea - Twitter is this?}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

It was actually. From a guy who claims to be an agent and in the know. I'm always very sceptical about them but thought I would ask just in case they were correct.

Carefree

Believable9 Unbelievable6

Not according to Dave Whelan the owner of Wigan at 4-45.

Agree2 Disagree0

Yer i saw the same thing whelans exact words were hes still a wigan player for now

curt

Agree1 Disagree0

Why come and rubbish? Whelan also said few is not 10 mil and not 9 mil but not far off, and he doesn't want appearance few to be part of deal. So 8.50m we will get him, I think that's gd for us,

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that the same Dave whealan who said Martinez was not in talks with Liverpool,when he was seen holding talks with their owners in the USA that same afternoon.

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know he was in talks with them might of been a social meeting ......

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you saying he is a Chelsea player as claimed above?
In all likelehood Moses is a standby if we finally give up on Hulk which I dont think is the case just yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moses is a replacement for the already departed kalou.

Agree0 Disagree0

What rubbish
No deal done yet
Don't make statements like that unless you can back it up

Agree0 Disagree0

You must be getting the early edition of next weeks paper m8 cause i aint heard a thing

He had a medical today from a very close source ,wait and see what tomorrow brings im only saying what ive been told but pretty sure its true

Are chelse going to end there interest in cavani and hulk because they are over priced and chelsea do not want to be held to ransom {Ed002's Note - Well Chelsea are not going to pay over the odds.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

We always pay over the odds it seems to me !

Agree0 Disagree0

Sadly all big clubs has to do that :( because the "lesser" clubs know they got alot more money than they do

Agree0 Disagree0

If we are not prepared to offer near the asking price why bother trying

Come on Chelsea we need a striker and a right back PULL YOUR FINGER OUT

Agree0 Disagree0

^^^^^ someone thinks buying players is easier that it actually is

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

No not saying its easy read the post again
Just saying they know the price when going in for a player so why such a big gap if your not prepared to go near the asking price you might as well not bother
Just look what's happening with Moses

Agree0 Disagree0

To the above poster, it's because there's usually a difference between the value a club put on a player and his actual market value, why would Chelsea want to pay beyond what is reasonable for any player?

Ed, despite stalled negotiations and comments about keeping Schurrle at Leverkusen by Rudi Voller, do you believe it is still possible that a deal can be made or has the door closed? Thanks, appreciate the input. {Ed002's Note - Chelsea has been told he is not for sale. That is where we are at present.}

Ed,despite you understanding that there was no significant change from the talks regarding Azpilicueta on Monday do you feel that an agreement can be reached with Marseille?Thank you again. {Ed002's Note - Yes.}

ED002 Portugese media reporting we may have made another bid for Hulk is this true? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what Portuguese media are reporting.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

15 Aug 2012 13:57:19
The club appear to be doing everything they can to solve the problems that appear to be never ending in the respective negotiations of Moses and Azpilicueta and unfortunately Wigan and Marseille appear to have unrealistic expectations that the club refuse to meet that ultimately will probably prevent these negotiations from being successful unfortunately.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

15 Aug 2012 13:53:39
ED002 are we still in Talks with Cavani has there been any progression if not why are we ot exploring other options ? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea are not talking to Cavani at all. Chelsea has spoken with Napoli on several occasions about possible options.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Was there stance still the same though ED2? are they still unmoved on the price and if so at what stage do Chelsea look elsewhere? {Ed002's Note - If a deal cannot be completed the club will have consider other options.}

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 13:02:08
ED002 anything new on Azpilicueta? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Hello Ed(s). Is it true Chelsea struggle to meet Cavani's personal demands for a transfer? {Ed002's Note - Struggle? No.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Are Chelsea willing to meet cavani's wage demands, or perhaps a better question are they at that stage yet

Trueblue012 {Ed002's Note - I don't know what demands there are.}

I suspect he means are Chelsea willing to pay it?

I see Perreira's name is being banded about again. Napoli seems the more realistic option but any chance we'll rekindle our interest or was this an AVB signing? It seems he's available for loan now and a much cheaper price that was quoted to us last season. Any interest Ed? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Why hes a left back we dont need one

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't believe we're being linked with him, we have cole and Bertrand.

Agree0 Disagree0

And van aanholt out on loan!

Agree0 Disagree0

We arent being linked with him its Napoli who are interested.

We have been linked with him

Eds, about our reported interest in Lazar Markovic, if his club were to lower his valuation, will the club return for him and how strong is our interest in Mateo Kovacic. Thanks for ur time.
Dastanj
Dastanj {Ed002's Note - As I replied yesterday, it is very difficult to answer the whatif questions about Markovic. There remains interest in Kovacic but it is most unlikely that anything will happen this year.}

i know the that Cavani and hulk are the main targets for Chelsea now to replace Drogba but i think if we sign Robert Lewandowski or even andre schurrlel i will be satisfied...do you think ed that Chelsea could make a bid for Lewandowski or anthor bid for andre schurrle if we can't reach to agreement with Napoli or Porto ??

BlueFox {Ed002's Note - Yes, I think it possible.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

15 Aug 2012 01:51:09
Ed, would you expect chelsea to show interest in jao moutinho if he were to become available? Great player and extremely underated i think. Thanks

irishblue {Ed018's Note - No and certainly not with some ridiculous price that Porto would want}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

15 Aug 2012 01:50:36
Hey ed, any interest in Xavier Alonso? {Ed018's Note - No}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Wishful thinking mate

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

He is apparently turning down a 2 year contract extension and I think real would rather sell him than let him go for free. He might be 30 but he is quality. If he does move, I'm sure it'd be to England. {Ed002's Note - Alonso won't move this summer.}
