Ed 002 if you have time I'd like to ask your opinion on cavani. Do you think the club will seriously pursue him (I know we met his release/buy out clause, not sure which one, last summer) or are cheaper options now entering the frame such as lewandowski or it it too early to tell? Also I know that the arrival of the new manager might have a baring on the situation. Any info would be much appreciated. {Ed002's Note - Chelsea maintain an interest in Cavani.}

Have any of you actually ever seen De Bruyne play?! We have Hazard, Schurrle coming, and Piazon coming through - all play from the left. Where does that leave De Bruyne?

If debruyne goes it can only be for 1 or more of dortmund's players. might be worth it for lewandoski or reus.

Won't happen Essien is one of ''special one'' favor. players.

Mikel is very one-dimensional player. essien and sami are more versatile than him. people like mata, oscar, hazard, bertrand, ramires, luiz are capable of playing at various positions as compared to mikel. the primary role of mikel is to be a defensive player. he is so awful that luiz has to step up and fill that void. judging from recent signings chelsea have made; I expect board likes players who are more versatile rather than being one-dimensional.

I'd take Khedira over Essien any day to be honest. Essien is no longer the dynamic player he was (unfortunately : ( ) and Khedira would definitely add to our squad.

Essien could be good squad player. we do need some squad players who could share the burden on busy schedules (like the one we are undergoing). a 20-30 minute cameo in premier league or full apperances in fa cup+ league cup could keep players in good shape.

Indeed if Wallace needs to go on loan for a season in order to get a work permit it would make sense to keep Essien as he can provide cover for Cesar at right back as well as providing cover in centre mid too. It would negative the need to look for further cover at right back. It's useful that Ivanovic can play right back too. I think the problem with Essien however is that £100k plus a week on a sub is a very expensive situation. I believe this why he was loanded to Madrid last season. He's an expensive tenant. -James13.

You know Khedira's revival in form is because he's no longer playing defensive and has been moved into a much more advanced role right? Chelsea's equivalent is Ramieres not Mikel

ED002 can you explain the whole De Bruyne situation is it Leverkusen want him on loan but he would rather go to Dortmund who want him on a permanent deal but Chelsea do not want to sell him? {Ed002's Note - The is no situation as such, he is a Chelsea player that they are willing to loan out next season or indeed, if he has no interest in a future at Chelsea, sell. As I explained he has no interest in a permanent move to Bayer bvut remains keen on a move to Dortmund.}

So kdb wants to move permanently to Dortmund? I think it would be a huge mistake selling him, he could be amazing within the a year or two
