I'd be intrigued if he doesn't get much time with Rafa at the beginning of the year if he'd look to move.

I don't think Rafa will let that happen. I really want him playing for us and I had hoped that the player himself would want to play for Mourinho again. Shame it's unlikely.

I wouldn't be surprised for Rafa to have orders from the top to be the "sacrificial" manager that gets the job of phasing out some of the older guys. Somewhat comparable to when avb came with the intentions of cutting back the roles of some of our more experienced guys.

I know it is sad but have been scouring other teams pages to get any tidbits from ed002 posts. I found this on the Liverpool page "Ed002's Note - Chelsea will also announce a Chilean signing in the coming days and are still looking for a player or two - but perhaps not for the first team." think he is probably talking about aranguiz. Ed002 I apologise if me posting this annoys you but it is not intended to do so. I will obviously fully understand if you do not wish to post this comment.

Well if that turns out to be the case we may be in some trouble is arsenal sign a top class striker has i'm positive united will do they are both going to be very very strong not to concerned about city getting sterling but if they go out and buy KDB or god forbid get pogba we are in for a tough season.

As long as he is a replacement for mikel I will be underwhelmed but happy. All the other clubs in the county seem to be improving quite a bit so just hope we manage to get some players in to add some goals from rw or midfield as that is what we are lacking most. (I do have high hopes for traore however).

Everyone is agreed what we need and there is time. Apart from Man Utd, few of our main rivals have done anything other than engage in paper talk. Manchester United 'had' to do something but there is little they have done that should scare us. Man City likely to get Sterling for an exorbitant fee; will prove a poor investment and they have had the best squad for three years but cannot get them to gel. Arsenal are sitting their with Cech and that is it. It's all paper talk at present so we need to really worry when all becomes fact but the Chelsea hierarchy are not fools and make it clear they do not like getting into auctions so I am confident their connections are working on our behalf!

As the eds keep saying the club will not buy for the sake of it. All other teams are trying to play catch up with Chelsea, Falcao I'm sure will be better suited to our style of play other than utds long ball tactics they where using last season. Begovic is a great goalkeeper to have as backup to courtouis. If one or two leave and maybe pedro for example comes in then I think where good to go. Where just as strong as anyone in the league but with a manager who is above every other and Jose knows how to win.
