Ed do you think Ibrahimovic is a possibility apparently he's unhappy about PSG spending so much money on Cavani?
CfcBenWxm {Ed018's Note - I don't think so but ya neve know}
There's no interest in Ibrahimovic and there won't be.
Our targets are fairly clear, Ibrahimovic is not even close to being a target! I'm also laughing at the poor journalism who assume Drogba's visit to Cobham was so Mourinho could get him back?
These people are meant to be educated no? Can't wait for August 31 so all this transfer nonsense can disappear!
Although I know its all just paper talk, I'd love it if Drogba came back as a coach for the strikers at the club as I feel he would be the perfect guy for the job and would love to work with Mourinho again.
As a coach that would be great, as a player, no way!
Exactly!
If Ibra gets unhappy at the club he plays for spending big on other players, he isn't worth the time, effort and cost. He is an arrogant and selfish player and despite his unarguable moments of genius, is not what Chelsea need.
The reason Ibra wants to leave is because he doesn't want to work under Laurent Blanc.
How many clubs has Ibra gone to for a season or two, made some noise and then left? if you ask me he is chasing signing on fees and media spotlight.
Malmo - 2 Years
Ajax - 3 years
Juve - 2 years
Inter - 3 years
Barca - 1 year
Milan - 2 years
Sold to Juve for apparently injuring VDV deliberately on international duty
At Juve, agent starts rumours of a 70m bid from Real to increase potential selling price- ans turn on him for being non-existent in big games
Finished his career at Barca in a row with Guardiola - they didn't talk for 4-5 months before he eventually left (1 year in to a 4 year contract)
Given 3 different 3 match bans in a season at Milan - 1 for punching a player, the other for abusing a linesman and another for slapping a player
Only since he has gotten to PSG has he calmed a little - however he declared early in his career that he wanted to continue to play in different places abroad. He is not the long term answer - and we have all too often went for the short term answer only to come out unstuck.
Stop watching his goals on YouTube and declaring him as our best option - his baggage makes him definitely not worth the cost.
Lukaku is the long term answer! That the why this deal would be so good in my opinion. We would get a good 2-3 yrs out of Ibra then Lukaku would be able to lead the line. I bet you Drogba's on the field problems weren't a problem for you when he was 31.
