Ed are Chelsea or any other BPL teams. I interested in Sakho of PSG now they have like 6 centre backs. {Ed002's Note - Arsenal have consdered Sakho in the past - but there is growing interest from Newcastle, Inter Milan and possible interest lingering interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona. PSG are not keen on selling.}

Hi Ed's.

I think it's fair to say that we have some exciting forward thinking players for the next season or two. Is there any plan replace or enhance our defensive midfielders. (Many CFC fans remain unconvinced by the likes of Obi and Romeu.)

Don't know how anybody can be unconvinced by romeu when he didnt get a lot of playing time last season with injury and illness

Unconvinced by Romeu? Are you serious? When playing with a designated DM, Romeu excels in the role whereas Mikel doesn't ( it is Romeu's natural position after all). When playing a double-pivot, Mikel looks more comfortable as he doesn't have as much defensive responsibility and can play a little further forward.

Romeu is extremely talented and Mikel was one of the best players under RDM during the end of the season.

Ed are chelsea interested in ganso? It looks like he wants to leave santos and they are ready to sell aswell.
Slocfc {Ed002's Note - The situation with Ganso remains pretty much unchanged. He will be allowed to leave because Santos cannot get sufficient sponsorship to cover the costs of both him and Neymar. Ganso's preference is for AC Milan, or Barcelona if MIlan cannot facilitate a move. A 40M euro bid from Anzhi Makhachkala was rejected and Ganso made it clear, regardless of the efforts of Roberto Carlos, that his desire is Italy and preference is AC Milan. Milan do not have the money available to pay the full fee for Ganso and I still think may offer a straight exchange for Robinho. Ganso was not keen on a move to England so there remains little chance that something can be done with Chelsea who had previously agreed a fee with Santos but now have Hazard or Arsenal who see the player as an option. If the player becomes interested in a move to England and if he is not priced out of the market, then Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United may wish to place a bid. There is also reported interest from Inter Milan, Internacional, Real Madrid and Manchester City. As an aside, Luis Alvero Ribeiro made a series of rather bizarre claims about his dream for Ganso (a) becoming part owned by another club who he will join after the Club World Cup (in December); (b) returning to Santos in June 2012 to play in the Olympics as a player of Santos; (c) returning to the other club in January 2013; (d) being sold for $200M in the summer of 2013. The other club is Porto - none of it will come to pass of course.}

In the majority of games next season we should line up with a 4-2-3-1 formation, here is my first choice eleven for next season.

Not much of an explanation needed here! Cech is the clear number one choice with, lets be honest, not much competition coming from either Turnbull or Hilario.

Ivanovic***Luiz **Terry***Cole

I know, I know Ivanovic would rather play centre half but… a) he is a better right back and… b) I’d edge my bets he’d rather be a right back on the pitch than a centre half on the bench. A new right back will be signed but, given the names we are being linked to, Ivanovic will remain the number one right back. Cahill will also get a lot of playing time but for now Luiz and Terry remain my first choice centre half partnership. Cole will obviously be first choice left back but Bertrand will really start to push him hard.

*******Ramires**Lampard*****

Ramires is so important for us now and will certainly be one of the first names on the team sheet. Any chance that Lampard might not be a first team regular left as soon as Di Matteo was confirmed manager, I love the idea of McEachran being the long term replacement for Lamaprd and personally hope he remains with the club and gets some game time next season. I also wouldn’t be against Meireles remaining as a squad player. In games against stronger opposition you will see one of the more advanced midfielders come out and the likes of Mikel, Essien or Romeu coming into a defensive midfield position behind a more flat four midfield.

Hazard******Oscar*******Mata

We may not have signed him yet but I see Oscar as the final piece to our attacking puzzle and expect/hope he signs. A lot of people will comment on Mata being better in the middle but I think you could put these three up in any order because during games they would all swap round causing serious match up problems for defensive units. Marin will offer quality backup to these positions and I would also like to see Paizon get a chance next season.

************Torres**********

Until such a time as we sign another striker Torres is very much the number one choice with Sturridge backing him up, Lukaku going out on loan. Time will tell who the new striker will be.

Good lineup, the only thing i would change is to swap oscar and hazard, because eden wants to play the n10 role, oscar is more versatile

Totally agree with the formation. On a personal note, I prefer Cahill over Luiz. But all three Luiz, Cahill & JT shall play an integral role next season. If I were a ManU, ManC, Gunners or Spurs fan I would wet my pants seeing the formation.

ED002 BILD reporting chelsea have put in another bid for andre schurrle is this to your knowlegde? {Ed002's Note - I don't know that another bid has actually been made but I expect it will be. There was a great deal of misreporting the value of the previous bid, so I would not trust in any figures you see in the press.}

Although i doubt this would happen, i think it would be great to see lukaku and de bruyne loaned to premier league clubs for the upcoming season but be loaned to the same club. They would get game time together and possibly grow a link like torres and mata have. {Ed002's Note - That is not possible.}
