CHELSEA are set to offer Paulo Ferreira as bait to land Benfica defender David Luiz. Chelsea have now upped their bid to £21.5m and included £4m-rated Ferreira as part of the package taking the total offer to £25.5m.

Hey Ed, the Sun has reported that Chelsea will most definately make a 3m pound bid for Pienaar and beat Tottenham to the player in the process. Any truth to this? {ed's note - considering the paper it is in, no. Chelsea might well get him but I wouldn't take any notice of reports in that lying rag. They have just had to admit, again, that they lied, nothing in there can be believed.}
