Ed, do you know what the clubs plans are for Lukaku, seeing as the objective is to build a squad for the future? I can't understand why Ba is preferred! {Ed002's Note - Ba is preferred because Lukaku is out on loan and cannot be picked. I don't understand your point.}

Apologies, I'll re-phrase;

Why was the decision made to loan out Lukaku, opposed to Ba leaving on either a permanent or temporary basis?
I think I speak for the masses that Lukaku, Torres and Eto'o are out best three forwards. {Ed002's Note - To give him what he needs - weekly football and relevant experience.}

Arsenal and Inter made enquiries over the summer but Barcelona have made it clear they do not wish to sell him. Whilst contract talks with Barcelona are at a standstill because he is asking for guarantees they cannot provide, the interest of Arsenal remains and interest of Chelsea was recently declared when another player was being discussed.
