Been playing too much Football Manager by any chance?

I'm sure there has been interest in him in the past, not sure how much there is now. He looks decent but would he be physical enough for the prem?

Dzagoev is an average player, we shouldn't buy him just because he is a Chelsea fan and is Russian

I think his contract expires soon,prob free to talk in january,heard arsenal have watched him for the past 2 seasons ,could prob get him for close to 10 mill due to contract,i can see him going to italy for free in a years time

Absolute rubbish to say this kid supports Chelsea, no Russian players anywhere grew up supporting English clubs, and why would they?

Dzagoev is an average player, do you lot just google the scores and see his name on the score sheet then go off on one? We might as well bring back Shevchenko, scored twice against Sweden.

He has been quoted saying he supports Chelsea and he would love to play for them.

I support Chelsea and would love to play for them too. Doesn't mean they should let me! ;-)

Personally i dont care if he likes chelsea or not ,i only care about the quality of the player. Is it possible that he does? of course it is we are owned by a russian,We used to have the russian captain play for us and back in the day we had a Russian goalkeeper.

I hate to say this but honestly, I think we should sell Torres. We've waited too long for him and shown him all the support and he can't score. We're not they type of club that can sit and wait for someone to start scoring goals for us when we should be challenging on all fronts. Cash in on Torres now and buy a prolific, confident, young striker like Edinson Cavani. Cavani will also pave the way for Romelu Lukaku as they have similar playing styles and that could create one of the most dangerous partnerships in the world and it would last close to a decade.

Painfully I think you're right although I don't think it will happen. If he fails again this season then yes I think he will have to go!
I am more confident in him this season though because in hazard, Mata, Marin and potentially hulk we have lots of creativity there that we've been missing for the last few years! I think if the creativity is there we may see some goals, if not then sell him sadly

Yer he is, let's all remember Torres likes to be throw balled, our wingers and midfield had creativity last season other than mata, Torres will score at least 30 in all comps u wait, {Ed002's Note - I dread to think what "throw balled" is. Some sort of initiation ceremony?}

Honestly speaking although i love torres if he doesn't start performing we will need to buy in january, can't see many teams mwanting to buy him unless he starts scoring though

I'm not a plastic fan if ive been supporting the club for 17 years and my family has had season tickets here for longer... i've backed my striker for one and a half seasons and he's given the club nothing. We have to think realistically. If he doesn't get back in shape by january we have to move him on for the good of the club and its ambitions

I mean if Torres cant score with the service he gets in the national side i.e. Xavi, Iniesta, David Silva, then what hope does he have of a comeback at Chelsea?
Realistically he has to really step his game up or be sold.

FT needs some good service provided to him hazard and marin should get him scoring again hopefully and if we sign hulk he would be a great player to help torres get back to his best again. chelseaforever.

How about giving him a run in the first team? Can't expect a player to score reguarly when he hasn't had a run of games starting.

I have to agree with the OP. 18 months is a long time to wait for a striker - who is supposidly world class - to click.

He struggles to score for Spain with all their creativity - and actuall watching the Spain game, it seems hes lost a yard of pace from his younger days which could well be why he is strugling (all those injuries at Liverpool !). Shevi was the same - played similarly - and both needed that initial burst of speed - both had lost it by the time they came to Chelsea.

Sell him and pick up Cavani or/and Falco.

Its hard to score when your sitting on the bench

Torres doesnt always get the creativity from spain let alone starting. Against italy he was making runs and i have had doubts but he i getting better and more comftable

With DROG gone he can now feel confident of his spot in the team. They are buying players to help him and this means he can play to his preffered style. We wont be lacking in goals with talent we have.

He scored against Barca. That shows there is talent inside of him he just needs to learn to produce it every game, Which he will JUST HOPE

Unless i am wrong there are issues with him getting homesick, which renders him unable to leave, i also think there were problems with this and him going on international duty e.g to the world cup.

I believe your right i think thats why he didnt end up going to the world cup

Hi Ed. if the Hulk deal dont happen, then who are possible alternatives? Thanks. {Ed002's Note - The main interest remains in Lucas Moura but any chance of making something happen there is slim.}

Has all interest in Di Maria for the RW gone ed002? Does his situation with RM remain unchanged regarding his possible departure?

Melbourne CFC {Ed002's Note - If he becomes available for sale then Chelsea would still be interested. The only recent chances of him moving appear to be as part of another deal. So unlikely.}

Eds I check this site a couple of times a day and can't seem to find a definite answer.
Are we still negotiating with Porto regarding hulk.
Also are we making any movements for cavani/falcao like making a bid or would that only depend on Torres moving on.
Lastly in your opinion how many players do you see us bringing in. {Ed002's Note - Chelsea maintain an interest in all of these players and there is no dependency on Torres. The situation with Hulk has been explained that there is a difference of opinion in terms of value.}
