Hi Ed's.

I've read Chelsea are potentially interested in Pedro of Barcelona - any truth in this? Also any news r.e Isco and Pogba?

Thanks in advance!

{Ed018's Note - I know nothing of any interest in Pedro. I'm waiting to hear back on Isco and there is nothing new on Pogba}

Isco would be awesome! Bring in Isco, sell or loan (with an option to buy perhaps) Cuadrado and attacking midfield is sorted with Traore as the 5th rotation option. Won't happen in all probability but it's fun to finally be linked to a star name other than Pogba :)

Read my mind Jack, ISco in, cuadrado out. Traore as 5th choice and 3rd choice striker he would be a huge step up and Oscar wouldn't have to go. With that we can focus on Varane and perhaps make a cheeky bid.

I think we'll sign a quality player who however I'm not sure hope it is Isco. Lovely little player he and Hazard would-be crazy. :)

Hey Ed002 and 018 hope you both are doing well and having a great summer. Looking forward to next season already. Come on Chelsea.

Imagine the interplay between Hazard, Oscar and Isco! That'd be some insane stuff, they're all so good :-)
Maybe it's better to stop dreaming, it's near impossible I think to take their Spanish golden boy away from them.

Diario sport spare reporting that Pedro has agreed to join Chelsea. Another load of old tosh I expect.

Isco's form dipped under Ancellotti because he had to drop deep and take on defensive duties therefore he would be going from the fat to the fire; he is a natural attacking player with an exceptional scoring record. He is still a young star of the future in Spanish football so why would they want to move him on? Just asking the question as Agents are getting more manipulative by the day. Regarding Pedro and his size. It is getting harder for small players to make a big impact in the Premier League and at 5'5" and a bit there are a lot of robust defenders that can handle players like that; Navas is a classic example at Man City. We do not want to buy for the sake of buying.

Frensham I have to disagree with you here about players with shorter players not lighting up the premier league: Hazard, Silva, Mata, Coutihno, Oscar, Willian, Sterling, Suarez do I need to continue?

Thanks for the reply Ed - I read about Chelsea interest in Pedro earlier today. Are Chelsea actually likely to get a marquee signing this summer? We keep getting our hopes up then someone else gets them, or nothing happens!

Quick there LRDit but I am referring to 5'5". All those you mention are 5'7" to 5'9", Hazard being a very compact 5'8"; there is a big difference if small and not so compact.

Dont want to be offensive but do you really believe that few cm's makes so much difference? Anyway I too believe that he will struggle little bit at our team but not because he is small, its because he doesn't look to have a lot of muscles

Jose wants new signings on board before we fly off for pre-season tour next Wednesday so going to be interesting few days. With Falcao and Begovic in for Cech and Drogba and Traore and RLC joining first team I suspect a replacement for Mikel and an attacking midfielder unless luis leaves in which case a left back as well.

Mikel might not leave after all.
It looks like Pogba dream is over.

Selling mikel should be one of priorities this transfer window as he literally offers nothing! I hate slagging our own players but boy he is really bad
