Guys Torres has not been on form due to a stomach bug and this was evident in the Swansea game.
Ed any update on the severity of the stomach bug, it seems to have plagued his game for the good part of TWO years? Lol

Don't want hulk in my opinion he is the most over rated player at the moment. I would be harro he we signed ledowinski as I feel he would fit right into our way of playing

The rule is you can't play for more than 2 clubs in a year not a season i think. {Ed002's Note - It used to be, but it changed a few years ago to clubs in a season.}

Ed, do we have any residual interest in Vargas? He has joined Sao Paulo on loan and I was wondering if we too were interested in loaning him to tide us over till the next window. We are still actively looking for another striker, right? {Ed002's Note - No. He has not settled in Europe and all previous interest from Russia seems to have dried up due to that.}

Strengthening in that position is not needed, as we already have many versatile attacking midfielders: Hazard, Mata, Moses, Marin, Oscar; plus de Bruyne and Thorgan Hazard who're on loan.

ED any interest from Chelsea in Capoue? {Ed002's Note - Etienne Capoue has attracted confirmed interest from Schalke, Anzhi, Inter and Benfica in addition to the longer term interest of Spurs and Arsenal. Chelsea, Zenit and West Ham had representatives at the Toulouse vs Sochaux around Christmas but there is no real confirmation of whether interest was in Capoue, or anyone else for that matter. Toulouse are not keen to sell right now but I suspect would play clubs off against Anzhi forcing the price up if he is to move in January.}

I believe Capoue has a release clause of £13.5m. Would be a great buy for that price

Eds if you are about. I was just wondering if you knew if anything is being planned with regards to bringing in home grown players in the summer. I know it is a long way off, but with Sturridge leaving as well as Lampard and Cole probably moving on in the summer it will leave only 5 home grown players in the first team squad at the start of next season. I understand there several players at the club and away on loan that will count as under 21, but is there a concerted effort being made to replace these players with others that qualify? Thanks for your input as always.

Blue25 {Ed002's Note - There will be at least one more HG player leaving in the summer and Chelsea, like all clubs are aware of the rules. There is not a concerted effort at this time to buy HG players, butr they are expected to come through the ranks.}
