Hi Ed002,

Wanted to confirm Chelsea's interest in CB Yanga M'Biwa. If so do you see as more of a January or summer signing. Thanks

I watched him once from whistle to whistle. Wouldn't have caught the eye if I weren't specifically watching him. Does he jump out as a big talent? No. Did the small things well I suppose. Physically unimposing and may find himself surprised by the officiating and robustness of English football. That's my one-game summation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Chelsea need to sign a good, young defensive midfielder as they are conceding too many goals at the moment

ED what is the latest on Paulinho are chelsea still interested? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea remain interested in him for a summer move - but there is interest from elsewhere and it has been suggested it may be next winter before a move is viable. I suspect we will know later this week or early next week. He is in Japan right now of course.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Paulinho would be an excellent alternative to Fellaini. I would buy both if my name started with Roman and ended with 'vich. He sounds like a real leader too, something Chelsea are in danger of lacking after years of buying players of character with captaincy qualities. Something about him snapping his knee back in place and continuing to play, which suggests an immense reservoir of mental strength and that he may be a bit crazy. Very impressed watching him for Brazil. He would add bite, backbone, defensive nous and goal-threat to back up the front trio of less solid flair attackers -- an ideal replacement for Lampard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be sure to let us know when there is some news ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you saying a team may agree a deal for him this week or next week ED? {Ed002's Note - What I said was clear.}

Ed, can you divulge any targets Chelsea have for the midfield area? (regardless January/Summer) {Ed002's Note - It is not the priority right now so much would be speculation in regards to first team players.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Ok no worries fella

Just read that City is now also interested in Paulinho, i really dont hope they snatch him before we do (if interest still remains in January window). Even tho i think he rather wanna join his Brazilians mates at Chelsea. {Ed002's Note - I am sure there will be news on Paulinho soon - one way or the other.}

Hope the news will be in favor of CFC.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really hope soo Ed, i am looking forward to see him against Chelsea in the Club World Cup! That is ofc if both Chelsea and Corinthians qualify to the final which i very much expect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that a hint that u know something ed! :) do u expect him to move jan?

Wheelycfc {Ed002's Note - I think it is pretty clear.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Saw a quick preview of him in the World Club Cup, looks like a strong DMF who looks to get forward as much as possible. Basically he plays like Luiz does when he plays in that position. I would suppose he would want Chelsea more over City, mainly because we already have a few Brazilian international players at the club.

Is there any chance of higuain joining ed or is it just paper talk? I think he could actaully bring the best out of torres and would be a much cheaper option then falcao {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Why are you worried about cheaper options your not paying for him are you

Agree0 Disagree0

Really dont understand this "cheaper option" talk,what difference does it make to you noname, your not paying.

Who cares about price.... Buy the best Falcao

Ed002, do you think it's likely we will bid for Fernando in January? I realise Romeu's injury will not force Chelsea to move on players, but would assume it may push potential targets forward in terms of importance.

Also do you expect Chabolah's loan to be extended?

Cheers

Melbourne CFC {Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely right now.}

Hi Guys,Ed002
Hope evryone is doing well.

Hey Ed002 was just wondering if there was anychance of a possible list of targets we've shown any intrest in however large or small,much like the one you did for us over the summer,so if you get a chance would that be possible please ?.

1.)Also to the guys on here been reading this morning romeu will be out for 6 months,anyone else hoping benitez pushes Luiz up and puts him in the holding roll and plays Cahill and ivanovic has the cb's.

If dont leave anthor message before Xmas have a good one everyone, and thanks for all teh work has usal Ed.

Carefreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ! {Ed002's Note - I don't have time right now Ben - remind me next week.}

Ohhh god.... another "LETS MOVE LUIZ TO MIDFIELD HE MIGHT BE GOOD CAUSE HE LIKES GOING FORWARD" here is some news for ya, he has never played that position with Chelsea and i doubt he wil adapt instantly and become the wold best DM/CM as many of you think he is gonna be. He is a world class CB and if he fix his out he might be one of the best, why would you move him away from CB where he has played so much and looks extreamly promising?

Thats like saying, Benitez said Torres is good at clearing corners, then lets play him as a CB he is gonna be Chelsea's best defender now!

Agree1 Disagree0

Always wanted to see Luiz in a DMF position. Could prove to be an amazing move.

Always Blue

Agree0 Disagree0

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea. Weather or not it would work out, who knows. Tierry henry started out as an average left winger. So a good manager could see/take a gamble and prehaps improve that players natural position and ability?

Luke

Agree0 Disagree0

He went in to that role against nordsjaelland and fitted perfectly

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree luiz for holding midfielder. Better there than centre back

Agree0 Disagree0

There's a massive difference as playing as a DM he would be playing the majority of the time facing his own goal. Playing Centre half you get to see the whole game going on in front of you. I am sure he would be fine going forward but don't think he would have the nous to know what is going on when receiving the ball with his back to the game

Hey Ed is this a possibility? : Nathaniel Chalobah's loan expires in January and if Romeu is still injured at that time, and Mikel is gone to Africa cant we just play him until one of the last days in the transfer window and then loan him out?.
That is we dont buy a player to fill that spot. {Ed002's Note - Chalobah will likely go on loan elsewhere - possibly even a PL side. THat could of course change, but that is the plan.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Okay, thank you very much.
