Believable1 Unbelievable1

That both don't want to come to Chelsea, they love football more than money.

Agree0 Disagree0

hi ed do you see luca piazon in first team plans or like me think would be loaned out with feruz , bamford, lukaku, de bryune, we have some quality players in the youth set up but are still below grade {Ed002's Note - Nothing has been decided about Piazon and we will see in the summer. Feruz will certainly not be loaned out.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why will feruz not be loaned out Ed??

Thanks
Webbo {Ed002's Note - He is much too young for it to be allowed. Give it a couple of years or so.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi again ed how old is feruz i genuinly think he will be a good player i always think of rooney he was only 16 and playing first team football in the premiership but i cant remember any of our players doing that {Ed002's Note - I think he may be 16.}

Hi edd:) will there be any interest in balotelli if city do decide to get rid of him? {Ed002's Note - From Milanese clubs, yes.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

But not from us? {Ed002's Note - If you are an Inter or Milan fan, then yes.}

Ed002 what was the reason Chelsea turned down Munian in January?

Melbourne CFC {Ed002's Note - They had no interest in the player at the quoted price.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Was there other players other than Higuan and Munian that were offered to the club in January? I find it hard to believe we did not act on anything as we needed to strengthen IMO. I know Higuan was offered around the 40m euro mark, so I take it Munian was also at the high end?

Melbourne CFC {Ed002's Note - Players are offered to clubs all the time - you are seemingly making some sort of beef out of nothing.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Too chicken to start beef with you ed, just perplexed as to why we thought to keep the squad other than addition of Cahill in january. Couldve backfired in hinesight. Thanks for the quick reply though

Melbourne CFC

Agree0 Disagree0

If he was too expensive in January, he'll be too expensive for the next 10 years, as he's only getting better which presumably means he'll only get more expensive. {Ed002's Note - Or they will have to accept a lower price.}

Agree0 Disagree0

40m euros does seem abit steep for a 18 y/o

Hey Eds. Could tell us a bit about the way chelsea scout players?
Do we have groups of scouts on continents, and how often do they report to the club?
Do they search for all types of players, and at all ages, or are there priorities?
When the club receives reports, who analyses and who decides to continue scouting certain players?

As Chelsea fanatics, we're just interested in the club and how things work :)

Cheers {Ed002's Note - There are a number of people that Chelsea retain or employ regarding the "scouting" of players including a permanent Chief Scout and a Head of International Scouting - Scott McLachlan - who all report in to the Director of Football. There is a guy called Matthew Hallam who co-ordinates all of the reports and ensures that they go to the correct person. Obviously no one at the first team level is going to see or be interested in any reports related to children. There are then scouts retained by the club in specific countries and areas of the world - France, South America, Adriatic & Old Eastern Bloc, Iberia etc.. On top of that there are both formal and informal "advisors" who often have an opinion to give.}

Ed do you think Roman has any kind of long-term strategy or any strategy for that matter for the development of the team (other than buying 'promising' youngsters who on past evidence will likely never make the first team). Or do you think he will he continue to treat Chelsea as his expensive plaything and make decisions on a whim...such as AVB is the man for the future...Oh no he's not. Next...

BlueTony {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about. Clearly someone has misled you about how the club works.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I may not know how the club works but I know they can't find a coach or manager to stay in the job for too long. Obviously that is nothing to do with Roman. {Ed002's Note - Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. What difference does it make how long a coach or manager stays? The club has been successful in recent years.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Not nearly as successful as they should have been considering the financial outlay over the past 8 seasons or so. We spent big money in the summer overall on Courtois, Romeu, Meireles, Lukaku and in January on Cahill. And yet We have gone backwards.

Ed whats the situation with Nuri Sahin at Real Madrid, i no he was injured for a while but he doesnt seem to have got any game time at all? Will he be on the move along with Ozil in the summer and are the both of them likely to head back to Germany? Thanks

PB {Ed002's Note - Sahin has had injury problems this year but rumours do persist about his long term future. If he were to leave I would very much suspect a move to Italy (possibly with Juventus) or a return to Germany would come before any thoughts of a move to England. Malaga also spoke to Madrid about the possibility of a loan.}
