Can't really fault the effort from the lads tonight. Thought we looked very dangerous up until Costa went off but we were beaten by the better team with simply better players than us. Already looking forward to next seasons campaign and like the fact youngsters have been given opportunities in recent weeks - hope that continues into next season. Kennedy looks like a gem at left-back.

Cahill was pathetic tonight and Branna not much better. We need to replace them both. JT would of made a difference over Cahill who is simply not up to it. We miss Zouma and need to rebuild our defence.

I wouldn't say we where pathetic. We looked good at times, at least up until Costa went off. If Cahill would of followed his man instead of running away from him then maybe things would be different. The thing that concerns me is Roman buying Chelsea started a trend of rich club owners but it seems the newer rich clubs have taken bigger strides and are leaving us trailing. You only need to look at man city for example. In today's football, to be at the top consistently you have to be spending up to £100m on players each season. Someone at Chelsea thought our youth players where better than they actually are at the moment and purchased players for squad depth instead of improving the first 11.

Zouma is a big loss him and jt would of managed ibra easily between them tonight I can't fault d rest of the side do Kennedy played well so to at times did mikel fabregas Dave an courtois . Bad players for me tonight pedro as always he gives the ball away for to cheaply and hazard was anonymous our centre halfs were shocking for both goals and I thought we had psg on the ropes until Costa went off he was fantastic tonight.

Totally agree. We've bought very poorly over last few years. I remember when we had top players for he starting 11 and on the bench. We don't have that anymore. More interested in youth coming through. Which sadly they are not good enough. Maybe 1 or 2. Just had to look at our bench compared to PSG's last night. We've got a long long wait before we can even think about getting close to the Champions League trophy again. The league isn't out of reach. Obviously this season is but we'll be back next one. But just shows you that the premiership is starting to decline. Players care more about money then trophies.
A MAJOR clear out needed at end of season. From top to bottom. Staff, first teamers, back-ups and youths. Stop loaning them and sell the .

Got to say until diego went off really thought we looked dangerous seemed to knock the stuffing out of us some good performances kennedy, pedro diego only bad point was deffence bit all over the show for the goals and don't think courtois fills the deffence with confidence looked like ivanovic expected him to dive for that cross for ibra's goal but onwards and upwards let's stick it to the toffees the weekend.

I have to agree I thought we had um on the ropes until costas injury I really hope that doesn't rule him out for Everton that would be major as its our only hope now. I also like the idea now of playing rlc Kennedy who I thought done a good job tonight and Traore get more game time for the rest of the season as we ultimate have nothing to play for so why not give rlc a chance as see what the fuss is really about an see how he handles himself our defence for both goals was brutal Cahill for first completely switched off an didn't bother chasing ibra one of those nights do Willian played well pedro in my view is a joke he gave the ball away time an time again.
