Referring to any of our players as deadwood is massively disrespectful, and doing it to 2 players who have played a huge part in our recent glories shows what kind of a fan you are. It may be time for some players to move on, but they will do so with my respect

I quite like bertrand but I think ed was saying the long term plan is for shaw from Southampton to take over from cole but I would liek to keep hold of bertrand as backup he's quite versatile and hasn't complained much he's played he's part when called upon.

Honestly, I would be suprised to see us buy a striker. With Ba, Torres, Lukaku and Feruz we have a good line up. Not to mention we have other players who can also play upfront.

Thought Ba was going to Turkey or somewhere?

i cannot understand why we didn't go in for gomez. 20 million for one of the most proven goal scorers in europe. iv a feeling wer going to spend 25 mill on benteke who is a decent player but I reckon lukaku will end up twice as good as him.

You're clearly not considering wages. look at the whole package, not just the transfer fee.

I think Lukaku and Benteke are great prospects. Belgian national team often played with both of them as strikes. They're even deadlier when play together. Simply they don't rule out each other as some people think. I don't know is Chelsea going to sign Benteke, but I am sure he would be great addition to the team.

Think I've said this before but I think there is absolutely no question about Suarez ability. Great goalscorer and ability to create chances from thin air which is something we need. I've also heard that off the field he is a quiet and unassuming guy with no ego issues or expectations. I think when he plays the red mist comes down which results in the ridiculous on field issues. It would take a lot for him to win me over.
And I do hope ivanovic gives him a huge fecking slap if he signs

I think I might be happy if we end up with Lukaku Torres and Ba and miss out on spending a huge amount of money on a striker. What do you guys think?

Only need one striker, lukaku and a schrulle backup.

Yeah I think torres and lukaku will be superb competition next season with ba used as the back-up option. if we signed cavani then torres or lukaku would've been the back-up option with would've created problems because all 3 would expect to start

So we saw that FALCAO joined monaco & looks like CAVANI will join psg. it is very dissapoint to see that they choose french football over english football. as those 2 were our main target its really disheartened for chelsea fan. personally I like cavani & I think he is one of the top striker in the world but it seems like it would never happen to see him in chelsea shirt. so what are the other alternatives for chelsea?
LEWANDOWSKI-very good striker but I don't think he will join chelsea & will play for bayern soon rather than later.
ROONEY-proven goalscorer but don't think man u sell him to their rivals may be barcelona is the destination for him.
SUAREZ-we can't expect him at least in chelsea for obvious reason.
BENTEKE-good player. scored some 20+ goals for a relegation threatend team is really incredible & play alongside with his national team mate may be really appealing to him but is he a player of chelsea standard?
Jovetic-one of the hottest young prospect but we need more expreinced player.
Tallking about exprience player I think who should fit perfectly in this squad is mario gomez. he is really a poacher & what chelsea fans surely gets from him is lots of goals. despite losing his position his goal scoring from is brilliant for bayern but alas! I think he will joined fiorentina as I think we are not intrested in him.
& at last another exprience player who would fit in this squad is Ibrahmovich if psg gets cavani we can go for him.
P. s-dont know who will end up at chelsea may be benteke, may be gomez, may be el sharrawy, may be yilmaz. may be none.
May be we can see the old Fernando torres scoring goals for fun. we can just hope & hope for better.

Absolutely no reason, because he bit Ivanovic? Of course he apologized; though the act was baberic like when Ferguson kicked a boot at Beckham's face; like Eric Cantona spiting at fans and punching them; and most recently, our dear Eden Hazard hazardously kicking a minor. Surez is a better striker and footballer than Cavanni, Falcao or any other striker. He is the best top 9 in the world; quote me anywhere. I would love to have such quality in Chelsea.
