Cracking result tonight it's the best we've played all season I feel. Thought Oscar was brilliant on and off the ball when he dropped back into a midfield three second half. I'd still like too see Loftus-Cheek in there over Rambo because he's technically better but apart from that I really liked that starting XI. Costa looked much sharper but poor Eden can't buy a goal.

It honestly wouldn't bother me to see Cesc be sold he's fantastic on form when on the ball but he's just to much of a passenger in big games. Well, saying that not even big games he got overrun by Bournemouth tbh. I'd also like to see Remy get more game time such an under-rated player IMO.

Two signings I would love to see at the bridge would be Stones and Teixeira. Stones is such a leader for his age not to mention fantastic on the ball. Think he would be the perfect partner for Zouma who was also brilliant tonight. We definately need more goals in the side that's why I want Teixeira who really wants to move also.

If we win Monday I think we've turned a corner especially with two home games against Bournemouth and Sunderland after it.

Totally agree. Apart from the goals we should be getting it was a much better performance and I was never a Ramires fan and would like to see Loftus-Cheek alongside Matic and always an Oscar fan but he has not progressed at all in eighteen months BUT last night was a little bit of the old Oscar so I will be watching for another good display in his next game. Like many I would move Fabregas on as he only played and plays well when a team is dominating.

Very happy with COsta's movement today. Made it so much easier for the players behind him - let's hope this wasn't just a one off. Really happy with the win considering the pressure going into the match - thought the team played well!

Certianly one of our better and most entertaining matches so far this season. Defensively solid and great attacking play. Matic looked a lot better with Ramires along side him, Zouma was great. Costa made some great runs but honestly should have scored at least one of the three clear cut opportunities.
I do think we need to be more clinical though.
This should be the team that plays on the weekend.

That's just what makes it so frustrating, when you see the team put in a performance like that but yet struggle to in premiership. Great energy, pressing nd attitude tonight, by far the best performance this season.

He's so much better in a midfield three. I don't like this no.10 nonsense. Give Hazard and Willian more freedom to attack. Fabregas isn't going to learn to move quicker or defend so I don't want to see him start in big games anymore.

A fraught 45 minutes coming up. I would take Costa off and put Remy on otherwise we run the risk of ending up with ten men. That booking is not tempering his stupidity and he was lucky the referee didn't see him flick out with his leg just before half time.

{Ed002's Note - I would need more of a promt than that - the only obvious thing that is going on in the next few days is a meeting of a number of clubs in Monaco and a meeting of a number of folks in Colorado (that is related to Chelsea).

{Ed002's Note - The club feel that things have not gone well so far this year and that they are not getting any breaks. I think that is largely correct. They plan on making changes in January but they are aware oif a reluctance of clubs to sell at that time of year.}

Do these meetings happen in a short space of time like between now and the end of January. Or do some meetings only concern long term matters and not the immediate transfer window.

{Ed002's Note - The group of clubs meet every August and then on an ad hoc basis. Typically it has been twice a year. The club gets folks together to discuss transfers three or four time a year.}

Agree drop Fabregas he always goes into the middle of the pitch to close off the pass or opposing player when we haven't got the ball. and never gets there ever
Then he doesn't try and get back at all so leaves the opposition a clear run at our defence rather have mikel.

Hello guys, looking yesterday at Manchester United I saw 3 or 4 youngsters playing. I know they are hit by injury crisis but do you believe mourihno would have played them? No chance! He would use mikel as a AM!

I don't believe that our youngsters are worse than fabregas or oscar on their current form. Just give rlc, traore or kenedy a chance ffs!

I understand your sentiment but United lost last night and those youngsters looked out of their depth. Its always nice to see young players given a chance but at what cost?

Yes! Fabregas has been absolutely dreadful by any standards but I wouldn't drop Oscar. He hasn't been great but he's not nearly as bad as some make him out to be.
Going back to your original post, I would love to see RLC given a chance. But playing 3 or 4 youngsters at once would be counter productive in my opinion.

I didn't say that we should play 4 or 5 youngsters but we should at least intergrate 2 or 3 each year. Just look now does actually any youngster (dont count zouma) was given a proper run of games?
