Does anybody no how good Sturridge is with his right foot on a scale of say 1-10?

Before people take this the wrong way , let me start that I am a big Lampard fan and think he his a legend BUT it's evident that he his not in that team on form. I really want him to stop taking corners because he very rarely beats the first player and hardly ever troubles the keeper. He just can't take corners. I would rotate players in midfield. Also Kalou, Mikel and Malouda would not get in team and I would get shot of the lot of them ASAP. kTBFFH, top man , like your common sense , you the man !

IMHO I feel this would be the order of the names on the Startng 11;

Sturridge
Mata
Luiz
Ramires
Terry
Cole
Lampard
Meireles
Bossy
Cech
Torres

I personally don't think that it works like that!

But if it did, surely the captain (Terry) and your best goalkeeper (Cech) would be the first two names on the list!

Fans keep on telling me that Frank Lampard should be dropped to the bench abit more often than usual so that other players can get more of a chance at proving themselves. I agree with this to an extent, ok yes he is'nt quite playing as well as he use to for us but lets not just blame it on him being 33. I think the lack of width in the Chelsea team has made it slightly more over crowded than normal in the centre of the park, obviously making it harder for him to apply his game. I watched Lampard the other night play for England, a team with more than enough width in Downing and Young. And if i'm being totally honest I dnt really think he put much of foot wrong. Hopefully now with the introduction of Mata and Sturridge to the Chelsea line up we will see a mur improved Lampard. Otherwise I only think he's guna be left with a place on the substitute bench or possibly a less demanding role (Holding Midfield). Anyway if this post qualifies for the banter section i'de like 2 here mur views on this matter.

Ktbffh!

I also think we will see a better lampard playing for us than we did for england

He gets double figures even when he has injuries throughout the season he is one of the top players for assists and he always works hard for the team. cant believe talk about him getting dropped he should second on the team sheet only behind terry.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only behind Terry what about Luiz, Ramires, Mata Sturridge ect I could go on

I would have sold Lampard in the summer window...
I love Frank and everything he has done for the club but we are in transition and looking to the furture.
I think Lampard stifles Torres with his runs into the box and lack of creativity.
I am sad to say this but I think Meireles will be the starting midfielder from now on if Chelsea are really moving forward!!

Play Mikel, and ramires behind lampard, Mikel to hold, Ramires box to box, he can run all day, let lampard have more of a free role higher up, with little to no defensive duties, he can still pick the passes and take his shots that way, plus he's never really been great at defending anyway.

Thoughts?

This is one that plays on your heart strings but we have to face it "time stands still for no man".Frank has been a legend ,the same as Drogba but i have to agree we are in transitional period.Frank needs to come on from the bench now.He can still do a job but we have to build for the future and at 33 this will probably be his last season with us.Sad but its life unfotunatley.we all have to move along when its our time.
