AN URGENT APPEAL

We readers of the Liverpool rumours site are today launching an appeal. Over the past few weeks our site has been visited on numerous occasions by two posters going by the names of Beautiful Blue and Blue Ba5tard. I can't begin to tell you the laughs they've given us (particularly in the past 4/5 days) with their outlandish "Chelsea will hammer you" comments. However, all of a sudden, they're nowhere to be seen. We were hoping you could tell us:

a) Have they just vanished into the ether?

b) Are they still dizzy from the violent b*tchslap that Fernando kept delivering to JT (or as we like to call him, the new Vidic) over and over again on Sunday afternoon?

Any updates would be gratefully appreciated. If you're reading this lads, please come back and visit us. There's so much we want to say to you.

YNWA! ! ! !

People criticised us when Abramovich came in sayin we bought the league.Man City have since proved that money does not guarantee automatic success and so people have to acknowledge that money although an important factor was not the sole reason for us doing the double in 05 and 06. Now people are criticising the club because we are not spending big. Its obvious that chelsea have changed their transfer policy as part of an overall strategy for the club to become more self sufficient and this will secure the future of the club in the long term.Chelsea are no longer in the market for 'marquee signings' who only offer 3-4 years maximum of service to the club with no resale value despite paying out big fees and breaking our wage structure. The only way established world class players will be signed is on a free transfers or in the last year of their contracts but only on realistic wages e.g Schweinsteiger.
Instead chelsea are targeting younger less expensive players in terms of fees and more importantly wages. Players under 25 years of age who can serve the club long into the future who if they choose to leave will have a strong resale value. The majority of these players they are targeting are currently earning small wages which chelsea can increase greatly without paying out crazy sums. Chelsea hope to play upon the benefits they offer of european football, opportunity to win trophies, excellent facilities and most importantly a manager who is willing to give youth a chance, look what he did with Kaka and Patos careers, rather than flexing their financial muscles, an area where they can no longer compete.
Chelsea aim to sign players before they become world class and develop them than signing players at the peak of their powers.
Chelseas current list of targets includes english players like Rodwell, Phil Jones, Henderson and Andy Carroll and foreigners such as Lukaku, Neymar, Ganso and Dzagoev. If we can snatch 3 or 4 of these along with some of promising younsters i.e McEachran, Kakuta, Sturridge, Bruma, the future our come will surely be bright.
