Ed002's response to Bakayoko question on Utd page seriously worries me. If we lose this deal then Conte will resign and I won't blame him. As champions, we need to strengthen, not stunt. And Emenalo/ Granovskia and whoever else was involved in the deal should be removed immediately- get someone competent in.

There is nothing Ed said in that entry that is worrying. I took it in a positive way.

But there is nothing to suggest a hijack isn't possible. Chelsea are faffing around too much trying to broker the best deals. Another situation like Lukaku would be bad and even more painful if we were to lose Bakayoko or Sandro. If they were to lose them to rivals then I think it would spells the end of Conte and I wouldn't blame him.

Hopefully we can wrap up Bakayoko, Rudiger and Alex Sandro as soon as possible. Hopefully that could ease the tension at the club.

United are making Chelsea their bitch in the transfer market :-P The lineup we'll put out for the first PL game will probably be hilariously similar to the one we had to put out every week last season. Or maybe we'll buy some amazingly average players instead of giving our young talents a chance. Looking forward to another extremely hard season.

Just remind me again though how that group of players we "put out " each week did last year. We without a question will have a team next seasons that competes for the title which is all we can ask we have one two out of the last three clearly the club have a decent idea of how to put together competitive teams.

Lukaku rumours started the same way. TBH I don't care are we going to sign Bakayoko or not. Our CF position is much more critical due to Costa situation.

Watching some of Belotti's goals from last season and he looks very impressive, even if the Serie A defending looks woeful. Uses his body well and times his runs well, attacking crosses with good aggression.

When you look at the way Sandro played for Juve last season, and the type of balls he puts into the box, they could be a very good duo to bring in.

I don't understand the Ruben neves transfer to wolves. We were linked to him for some time and for that price is a bargain. There surely is something else to it! Ed18 Ed002 or anyone. Can shed sum light to help me make sense of this It would be greatly appreciated.

{Ed001's Note - he had a terrible season last year and all the big clubs looking at him lost interest. He has gone to Wolves to revive that interest and his career.}

Ed018 not based on who were after but in your opinion who would you like Apr suit Chelsea leading the line. ( not including costa )

{Ed018's Note - it is a shame that it can't work with Costa. He's such a good player but such a prick at times. Other than that it doesn't matter to me. I'd be fine with Morata or Belotti. Aubameyang or Sanchez would be nice to but I don't see those being realisticAfter that being realistic. I don't see anyone out there with the quality that could be available. Lewandowski isn't going anywhere. Cavani isn't the answer. Dembele from Celtic isn't ready yet in my opinion. My biggest fear is ending up with a Llorente or Benteke has our starting forward. It'd be such a step backwards}

What an embarrassing post. You just won the league last year and were in an FA cup final. No ambition?

There are other strikers like Morata, Belotti, Dembele who you could still buy and are potentially better than Lukaku.

Morata or Boletti will be good. But its just frustrating that we once again losing out on our first choice.
agreed we do make good signing and make a lot of money but fans want to see big names being a big club. if not use our youth talent.

Think you'll find that winning league and almost fa cup is great but while other teams are improving we are not, as last time we won league we haven't backed it up, morata is a cf not a striker, Jose has worked with morata and still didn't sign him. says if all, belotti is unproven as only had one good season and is likely to cost more than lukaku, dembele is poor mans michy who has no experience in Prem so when we tell costa his not in our plans I expected we improved on him. and deals for Sandro bakyoko rudiger why can't we close a deal, we waiting for someone else to come in so we can say " least we tried " if I'm this fed up wonder how conte will be when we sign lorente and Hernandez to lead the line.

we are the big boys we won the league and got to the fa cup final, every other teams in england need to improve to get up to our big boy level, we have won 2 leagues in 3 seasons and it would have been 3 if we didn't swap seasons with Leicester, and sandro and danillo play different sides so are probably not connected, now is not the time to panic preseason hasn't even started yet, they get back monday then we have week to get players ready before we jet off, i honestly don't see the problem if chelsea sign a player 3 days after we have flown, they just jump on a private plane and come out to us a few days later, the time for panic is when the transfer window closes on the 2nd of september and we haven't signed anyone that's the time for panic, i think it will be a good transfer window, better than last season.

Belotti is of no use to use, he is not any better than Bats who himself is light weight. With Morata we would get a goalscoring footballer who can link up play and is quick. I am very pleased we did not get Lukaku as I do not think he fits in the Conte vision.

Morata is equal to if not better than Lukaku for us. (Hazard would bit enjoy Lukaku)

Danilo is a right full back, Sandro left full back.

If we wanted Lukaku that bad we would've made a more decisive move.

More decisive move. we matched the 75m bid? We thought we were only ones interested and it was sure thing. Sandro deal? That's not happensed after weeks and weeks of talks and agreements and then bakyoko which has been going on for ages now. And rudiger? A clumsy defender / wing back with worst cross rate accuracy in serie A. And a lot of people on here praising morata. his not scored more than 20 league goals in a season. his a CF, yeah great link up play but we need goal scorer, and his had injury problems. and I read he was only a sub because he was at Madrid, . Yes. and juve, and Spain. And when I read how many goals he got in all competitions this year I laugh as he was used in cola Del Rey early games against poor teams, Madrid needed game changer he was behind asemerio rodriguez isco ( bale when fit ) and to finish and to chill I'd like morata. for 45 / 50m but Madrid want 75/ 80 and it's a huge waste.

At least this should end the circus around Lukaku that was threatening to drag on. Need to be swift now, new striker in by the time we fly off, Morata, Belotti or Mbappe would be great, I'd take Llorente as a third choice different option sort of player, make a take-it-or-leave it offer for Sandro to get the player to force the move, get Danilo in fron Real for RWB/ RB (and can cover at LWB/ LB) - and finally announce Rudiger and Bakayoko!
