We were tremendously unlucky - beaten by a very dubious VAR decision - completely controlled the game - same problem: possession but no end product. CHO played well - not out of his depth at all - the boy's going to be a beast - praying that he stays / signs new contract - by the way he was hugged by Sarri and Zola when substituted, we are definitely trying to convince him. My one gripe: Alonso - would like to see Emerson given a chance.

Impressed with our performance tonight.

Well done Sarri for getting the tactics so right. I thought we bossed the game.

I suppose people will talk lots about CHO and he had a good game. The thing that surprised me was how much better he looked on the right.

Just for a change with some posters can we just try and be positive and constructive.

Totally agree Tom. We were the better team!
If we’re constructive about it let’s discuss what needs to change. Obviously all opinions:
1) WE NEED A STRIKER! A blind man can see that!
2) Emerson has to start
3) Kovacic > Barkley
4) Hazard is wasted up front, it just doesn’t work
5) Jorginho doesn’t work. I’m not going to slate the Sarriball system. We’ve sold Fàbregas but I prefer him in the role. Kovacic would also play that role better. If we get Leandro Paredes he starts for me over Jorginho!
6) We miss RLC
7) Keep CHO and make him a first choice winger alongside Hazard. He’s head and shoulders above Willian and Pedro. As far as I’m concerned if CHO stays those 2 are now cover for him and Hazard!

I’m sure I’m going to get slated. I’m trying to be constructive as I feel we played well tonight. However, we’re a few changes away from being a really good side. Sarri needs to open his eyes though and realise some things aren’t working as players either aren’t good enough or don’t suit the league.

Spot on Tom! Thought Sarri got it right tonight, just needed a “Kane” of our own to score for us!

I think Odoi got crowded out when he went over to the left, would of liked to have seen Giroud on for Willian and tried to get some crosses into him. Tbh I doubt any of Pedro, Willian and Giroud were match with there recent injuries.

We all see games differently.

I do think Emerson should be given a chance.

I thought Barkley was more effective then Kovacic

I thought Jorginho gave us tempo.

Willian, I’m not sure even I can be constructive.

I’m not a fan of a false 9 but overall I thought Sarri set us very well and I think we bossed the game.

What are his strengths then Tom? Just interested in what you think Morata is good at.
The only strength I think he excels in is his aerial ability both attacking and defending. He wins a lot of headers from defensive corners for us. I personally feel he’s too weak for the prem. he’s mentally weak, let’s fouls get on top of him when decisions go against him. In general don’t think he’s a great finisher. I prefer Batshuayi.
Our problem striker wise is we’ve had 2 Rolls Royce’s in Drogba and Costa leading our line for the past 15 years!

Im almost alone on this site but in my opinion he is not a Sarri hold up forward and we don’t play to his strengths.

I’ve also said, my guess is he will be leaving and he will be another player we regret losing.

Haha il defiantly a Chelsea fan and at them moment we have too much dead wood who are not offering anything. We have midfielders who have no end product and a winger in willian who offers nothing, saying a rival player played wel is hardly meaning in a fan, then again we can’t all have our blue tinted glasses on the whole time some actually watch the games see what and where we not performing and say it, dele Ali worked hard and scores goals, I’m gutted we don’t have a midfielder who gets his goals. Doesn’t make me a spurs fan it makes me jealous,

Thought we played pretty well and certainly deserved something from this game. Still not convinced even after viewing VAR that Kane onside for their penalty/ goal.

Get Willian away from this club, lazy useless and we have better options in CHO, and without a striker we won't be doing anything this year, it's starting to show and take its toll on results, hazard I feel for him. Looked frustrated and spurs took it in turns to kick him until they were booked and then someone else turn, Alonso, just seems slow, and low on confidence maybe, but how we are linked to 2 CM's when we have the biggest problem scoring goals I'll never know. And dele Alli was superb I do have to say. Was everywhere,

Hazard central and Willian wide, it's like playing with no striker or winger, no outlet, hazard drifting to help out but not really helping, and to concede the pen by a long ball, willian watching the ball go out while a spurs player runs an extra 15yards and keeps it in. frustrating 35.

Having seen the VAR replays Kane still looked offside but then I am wearing blue glasses perhaps. Anyway, on this evidence VAR would have easily allowed Morata's 'offside' goal against Southampton surely.

If I was the club . we are not desperate need for money. I'd reject very bid from Munich then give CHO game time if playing well then see in the summer if he still wishes to move. If he still wants a move away there is no reason why we still wouldn't get around 30 mill.

On the one hand I’m told Chelsea are now so cheesed off with Bayern, they will not sell CHO to them at any price but on the other hand, Sky Germany saying we have agreed a fee and yet he is playing tonight.

so frustrating the 1 players that really has us excited and breaking into our team and he's headin off out d door i just can't understand why hed want to leave a club whos taken him this far and are giving him time with the first team at 18 years of age. sky also reported yesterday he's just as likely to sign a new contract so we don't no til this is done. so frustrated by it all.

I will be gutted if he goes but life goes on.

Please don’t blame the Chelsea board or management if he goes. The club could do no more than offer him a contract and give him the game time his ability warrants.

Magic: Need to think carefully as we have just bought Pulisic from that "bang average German league". Is he any better than Hudson-Odoi? Personally I do not think he is, more first team experience but not a permanent fixture in the Borussia team. He is very quick with a very nice touch and he would be ideal in the false 9 position with Hazard back on the left and Odoi on the right but we would need to make that leap of letting inexperienced players learn their trade in the first team. Would we be brave enough?

my point is pulisic wants to test himself in the best league in the world where as hudson wants to leave? we are brave enough but obviously he wants ready until recently as his defensive work was terrible if some1 is good enough we have to trust d manager plays them and if der not playing there's a reason. the board is not to blame here hudson odoi is making a decision based probably on advice from god knows who . if i was at d club since i was 8 an i was a cfc fan why would u want to leave? for bayern a team going bo where all old players therel be huge pressure on him der when robben an ribery go hel be expected to be the goal scorer etc an hel be ruined if he has a few bad games if he even gets a game over der.

i reckon he is going. big shame. it's more amazing that our wingers in. front of him are 30 + . which the club doesn't like. so more reason to play and keep. him.
it's a mess with our youth progress. we are superb in. buying young talent and making money off them but in terms of actually bringing them through we are hopeless.

barella and paredes in talks with chelsea? does that mean wel sell or loan 1 of our other midfielders and fabregas wasnt getting hardly any minutes so 1 of these is his squad replacement but why are we signing 2 midfielders.? ampadu obviously its good for him if cahill goes hel be promoted to back up cb with cristensen.
