We simply must build our team around Cesc and Hazard. Throw in the legs of Willian and defending of Zouma and Dave and that's about it. The rest must come from the academy players, fringe players like Ruben, loanees like Musunda and new signings.

Pedro recently said that Chelsea will manage to keep majority of current starters (almost all of them) plus he said Chelsea will add a few world class players. Also, he is expecting that Chelsea will be back in title race next season.
I believe that majority of players know what will happen during summer.

Just no words. 1st goal was unstoppable, nothing you can do but applaud. 2nd is poor keeping and if we get an offer over £50m I would sell Courtois. He is certainly not irreplacable in my view. 3rd was shocking defending, Baba's confidence is gone and we need to accept the idea failed and move on for the better of both parties.
We need to build around Cesc and Hazard. They are the nearest we have to world-class players. Keep Costa, he scores goals and with another good striker to push him, he'll be an important member. Back 4 should be built around Zouma and Dave at RB, not LB. At least one other strong pacey CB needed to play a higher line.
Fans need to also stop clamouring for marquee signings. A famous name doesn't guarantee success. For me the best 2 signings in the EPL this season have been an Austrian LB on a free, and a relatively unknown DM for around €6m. Hardly household names.
Let's move on, regroup and rebuild and most importantly stop playing the blame game.

I am sure we are all looking forward to this season to end as that display was up there with some of our bad performances. It sounds like an old record but Rahman has to go, Ivanovic on the slide with no way back, poor John Terry looked well off the pace and Mikel as steady as he can be is not the answer. Willian looked jaded once more which I don't understand as he should be no more jaded than any of the Sunderland players and I am wondering if there is a 'China offer' on his mind. Unfortunately given the season we have had the players take the blame.

Pains me a lot to see us perform like this. We have fallen into a deep hole. Only way is up. The entire back line and midfield is not Upto the mark. Expect lot of players being sold. Team needs fresh legs and motivation. Hope the players look at Leicester and realise that this is a team game and requires your heart and soul to be there for your team. We undoubtedly have the talent. But I'd the heart and soul of the players is with Chelsea? Don't feel that way after watching this season. Need players who would do that. Need a younger Terry, lampard, cech, drogba, ballack and last but not the least essien.
Hope conte identifies them and brings them to the bridge.

Nice winger Hatem Ben Arfa is in talks with Barcelona, according to the Ligue 1 club's president.

Ben Arfa, 29, is enjoying an impressive season in the south of France, having contributed 17 goals and five assists in 32 league games.

He's got all the talent a player could ever want, but he has to make sure his head is in the right place. If that happens then he's got every chance to succeed at Barcelona.
He can really do wonderful stuff on the pitch.
