A bit of a poll thing guys you can add to it if you want ed? Who do you think will be our first two signings of the window?

I'm going for Falcao and Rahman.

As far as I'm transfer business can be done outside of the transfer window, however the player can not officially sign for the club until the window opens. In a short state I think that's about right. Is that about right ish Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

A belated well done on winning the league. Seeing out the job will always be vital to a team who wants to win the league, whether that be classed as boring or negative is irrelevant. Mourinho is a genius and like the legendary SAF, he is a born winner! As much as I hate to admit it.

My question to Chelsea fans is, as title holders who do you guys think will be pushing yourselves for the title next season?

I'd like to imagine United will be in the mix, and if unlike the past two summers, we identify clear targets and wrap up the deals I think we could push. And stay away from panic buys like Di Maria.

One thing a lot of PL fans are saying right now is that Arsenal are a few players from the title, which I disagree with. They play well but they can never seem to kick on.

Thoughts?

I agree with di Maria being a panic buy but he's still a world class player. Before he joined utd he was second to ronaldo as madrids most influential player. Maybe van gaal's tough stance on formations just does not suit him. I actually think di Maria could solve the problem chelsea have at right wing. I do think utd will be challenging next year but there needs a lot more work to there squad than at chelsea. Keeping de gea is a must as he must of earned utd at least 10-15 points alone with some outstanding saves and as a chelsea fan I always like to see our opponents lose there best players.

I think United need to add a lot to their squad to compete in both Europe and for the title. I think they'll take a couple of steps backwards next season.

City will be there or thereabouts.

Arsenal will be third I'd imagine but they can't compete for a full season, and their record against big teams is shocking. They'll be third but way of the pace as far as winning the title is concerned.

City are going backwards with the majority of their big players getting worse not better.
Arsenal have a really well rounded squad but not a ton of world class players which is what it takes to win the league. In order for them to challenge they need to bring in signings like Sanchez rather than welbeck and ospina.
United are the ones I think will be up there but you guys can't fall into the same traps of arsenal. If teams want to challenge Chelsea they need to purchase world class players to compete with Chelsea's.
It's no different to how we need to buy world class players to challenge Barcelona. Very commonly the team with the best first 11 wins the competition.
