Who do u leave out terry or luiz? I rate cahill but its a hard pick of the 3 or 4 when we sign rb so ivan can come back to cb picking 2 of them is gunna be harc!

Luiz and Cahill all the way for me

Luiz and cahill because thr quick and can play further up and pick a good pass. but without JT u lose the leadership and and he keeps the defence tight. i dunno its hard to call. BLUEBOY1

Don't rate luiz as a defender, I guarantee he will cost us points this year with his stupid challenges around the box. Cahill and terry for me. If rumours are true Barcelona want luiz for £30-35m I'd take it.
Agree0
Disagree2
I can't remember a game where Cahill didn't come in and impress. In the Champions League him and Luiz were something else! He's obviously seen as Terry's long-term replacement and some obviously see it as time that happened by putting him in now. I can see both sides to the argument, but think the transition has to happen soon - maybe properly after this season of change up top where we need to keep some stability elsewhere e.g. at the back.

I bet Kaka is kicking himself after choosing Madrid over Chelsea a few year ago. He barely gets a start there because of all the other young talented CAMs and is out a lot because of injury. If he came to Chelsea he would definitely of being guaranteed a first team place and the he would no doubt of being a better, more known player than at Madrid. However we can take a big positive out of it. If we did sign Kaka then we probably wouldn't have needed, or known about Oscar and we would've wasted a lot more money on Kaka who had less years in him. I'm hearing a lot of people branding Oscar as the 'New Kaka'. But at the current age of Oscar I think he is a better player than Kaka ever was (Yes thats right) and will only improve. Hopefully he keeps the pace going for the start of the season and performs for Chelsea throughout.

As far as i know oscar hasn't won the ballon d'or and kaka' doesn't play as much for madrid because they have ozil, di maria and ronaldo. kaka' was badly injured at the start of his time in madrid and hasn't been able to keep fit long enough to displace the 3 ahead of him

I have seen Oscar playing in all olympic games. He is a real talent, and i am very happy that he is in our team.
As we all know RDM will prefer 4-2-3-1 formation and with the likes of juan mata, hazard ready to take no 10 spot Oscar might be pushed back to one of two holding midfielder roles.
But it should not happen the boy is pure class in no 10 place. May be he dont have the pace and dribbling of Hazard but Oscar got great vision, he has got accuracy of passing and most importantly he is very much unselfish and seems very matured being just 20 yrs old. He reads the game very well.
RDM wants to have 2 holding midfielders but what if we can actually keep just 1?
As Ramires is more attack minded than defence when playing in one of those two pivot roles.
I will go for 4-1-4-1 formation
--------------------cech---------------------
ivanovic----luiz----------terry--------cole
-------------------essein--------------------
--------ramires-------------oscar----------
mata---------------------------------hazard
--------------------torres--------------------
and if RDM still goes for 4-2-3-1 formation then it will be more likely
---------------------cech--------------------
ivanovic-----luiz-----------terry------cole
---------------------------essein------------
-----------ramires---------------------------
mata--------------oscar-------------hazard
-------------------f.torres-------------------
I will prefer any day fit essein over mikel and also will prefer romeu as substitute to essein rather than mikel. When we are gonna play attacking stylish football we need to pass ball quickly forward, and i guess exactly there essein and romeu are better than mikel.
I agree mikel might do better duty in holding, tackling and showing more physical presence. But that is not going to complement our play. Mikel is slow passer of the ball and mostly his passes are sideways and backwards towards the defence. And also mikel needs to understand that now onwards we wont be the physical side we used to be. Often seen mikel giving chip passes in air during preseason and we lost most of the times ball in air. With the likes of hazard, mata, marin, oscar dont expect to win the ball in air.
It has to be beautiful ground passing game. The better and faster our players understand .........better for our team.
Thats all my thinkin may u guys have different opinions.
up blues.......

The 4-1-4-1 is a 4-3-3
Agree2

Depends on how you view a 4-3-3. The most traditional way a 4-3-3 is played is a flat 3 across the middle and a flat 3 across the top, essentially playing 3 strikers.
Agree1

Mata can't play on the right
Agree2

Says who? The front 3 played everywhere last year and a good front 3 is based around movement and taking up the best positions, wherever they are e.g. Man City and Aguero, Silva etc.

That Oscar guy is some player. run the show again tonight. Embarassing thing is i barely even knew anything about the kid around a month ago. Surprised Damiao not been considered as the striker signing, bit clumsy and cumbersome at times back knows how to hit the net.

Dont pick on me when you read this, its just to ask peoples opinions !!!!!
We spend so much on players now eg Hazard, Torres sort of prices and Arsenal spend hardly nothing and still compete...i know people will say Arsenal dont win anything, but they still compete for the title as we do. We all class an away victory at Arsenal as an exellent result dont we.
I would like Chelsea to have a limit for transfers, something like 15 mil and a pay limit of 70,000 a week.
I want to see players who want to play for this club for a good wage and no greed. If agents try to hike up a price we should cut contact straight away.
Its time now to stop all this spending.....players are soon becoming more important than the clubs.

people laying into torres and meirelles seem to have short memories. they helped us big time in the champions league. torres assisted luiz v valencia, kalou v benfica, and assisted someone else plus a few goals 1 against barca. meirelles 2 goals 1 beauty 2nd leg v benfica, assisted a torres header great cross aswell. meirelles worked reallt hardd v barca stoppes messi alot. torres made us look more dangerous v munich when he came on. and to be fair played well towards end of last season. i really think torres will be fine this year, im not saying we need another striker because we do. if he still is crap by january then we all know what to do with him. meirelles is a good addition to the squad aswell. yes his passing is sometimes like wtf but he puts in a good shift. were gunna have a gd squad of young & experienceed players, plus a striker, mosses? & azpilicueta. yes pre season was terrible, it did my nut in but this year the further we get into the season the better & better we will become. KTBFFH! BLUEBOY1

I semi agree with the post above me. However I don't think it should be Meireles that loses his space to Mceachran. I think it should be Mikel. I seriously hate that guy, I think he's one of the most terrible signings we've made since Roman took over the club! (Remember I said 'One of'!!) His passing is terrible, his dribbling is terrible, his ball control is poor and as for his tackles... You're lucky to see him make a fair challenge in a game.
