Verratti is a real good player and would improve our midfield massively. but is he as good as all the hype? Silly red card too. Frustration, and any deal for hazard has to have asensio in. best player on the pitch.

I think this may be possible - Asensio is very close to Morata - and Asensio will be very peeved if Real sign Hazard.

question for all the fans here. if a new manager comes in it might spell an end to our 361 formation or what ever way u want to describe the formation we play. would that spell an end to alonso an moses in the team? personally moses has never looked d same since the cup final v arsenal. alonso is decent he's not good enough in a back 4 if u ask me do but i like him he seems a bit of a guy most fans of cfc like. what back 2 would we then play cesar an christensen? christensen rudiger? personally i think rudiger is our most under rated player so far any time he's played he's done really well he's been agressive an dominant obviously if u looked into every game ud find a mistake he maybe made but generally iv been impressed. an also id like to state maybe tom an a few of the older fans on here might agree without cl next season if we fail to qualify id rather win a league than play in the cl for a season an be full of energy an commitment like last season thoughts on how ye see the summer going an who yed like to replace the seemingly doomed conte? realistic summer signings? for me if alegri came in ud have to hope if we sold hazard alegri might be the key for dybala? thoughts,? a change from the usual doom an gloom here is my main reason for this post.

We need to go back to a 4-3-3. Moses isn’t good enough he just had a good spell. I wouldn’t like Alonso in a back 4 personally but I like him as a squad player. Christensen needs an experienced head next to him I think Rudiger an Zouma are good but both fairly inexperienced. Kante should be the holding player an we need to box to box mods either side of him who can attack an defend. Kovacic, Vidal and Loftus-Cheek I would like to see in the squad although unlikely. I’d like to see Luiz in midfield again. Bakayoko and Drinkwater are too one dimensional and so is Cesc who can’t run no more. Ampadu has looked great when called upon and should deputise for Kante. Get Bailey for the RW position. Doubt we’ll sign a new striker as we’ve spent to much on Morata we’ve just got to hope he comes good really.

Why on earth would you want a RW player Frank when we have one of the best around in Willian? Agree with you though that a return to a back 4 in a 4-2-3-1 is needed. Azpi at RB, Rudiger and Christensen at CB and Alonso or Emerson at LB. Ampadu or Luiz next to Kante in the 2 with Hazard the 10 behind Batsy or Morata or Giroud. Willian at RW and for me Hudson-Adoi at LW. Give him his chance. Ross B could also play the 10 with Hazard on the left. We are actually quite close to being a very good team.

Frank. You will find he is probably our most consistent forward. Does not go missing and would get into most top 6 sides. Aside from the sad time he lost his Mum.

Exactly Matt Martin we need quality to rotate don’t we if we want to challenge. Bailey to replace Pedro then Hudson-Odoi or Musonda as 4th choice with the other going on loan. Even when Hazards not at his best he’s still more consistent than Willian don’t know what you’re talking about?

Agree with a lot of the stuff being said here.
4-2-3-1 gives us strength in defence and attack.
Just to pick up on KingFrank and his inclusiong of RLC as a box to box midfielder. Personally, I can't see this. He's never shown, to my knowledge anyway, that he's willing to do that job.
IMO, he wants to be that number 10 that links the DMs and the striker, plus add his own few goals.
I can never see him doing B2B unless a manager puts his arm around him to get him doing that job.

Whether he changes nationality or not
So if he signs a deal for four years as a Brazilian the club have to stick to that for four years

You know me, always half full and positive. Long time fan and don't have much time for Johny come lately's. No time for trolls either. Must say though I'm a bit down right now as I guess most real fans are. Roman is a serial winner and will put it right as he tends to do but I must question why this cycle of win the league then struggle then win the league etc. ED01 made a good point in saying we need to find our style, our image. We have a habit of wanting attacking football but employing defensive managers in Jose, Rafa and Conte. I would like Carlo back or a manager who plays on the front foot. The Napoli manager would be decent. Conte must go after yesterday and all his recent moans about transfers. After all, he wanted Morata the donkey. The club wanted to keep Diego. He wanted Bakayoko, we wanted Matic. He hated Batsy, Batsy scores goals. He likes Drinkwater we prefer RLC. He plays Hazard as a 9 . Taxi time. Good thing is though our history tells us we win the league next Season. In ROMAN we thank.

Like pep klopp or pottchetino give the club a identity going forward build a team that's his and stick to it.
