Hi ed is it possible we bid on all strikers ie hulk shurrie cavani and jovetic and others, cfc see who accepts and they pick the one they want most so if we bid 50 mill for cavani and say 35 mill for hulk, Napoli and cavani don't accept so the next one on the list is priority, hedging our bets so to speak is this why there is supposed speculation on basically everyone.
Thanks
Gareth 1973 {Ed018's Note - doesn't quiet work like that}
That tactic works well in fifa
I have never played fifa in my life unnamed poster but I'm sure the technology on your ps3 or Xbox doesn't allow for this, and I would like nothing more than for you to explain how it actually works, please
So I look forward to you explaining to me, how transfer policies work at cfc

Hi Eds,
Hope you're well and keeping sane!
Are Chelsea representatives watching any prospective transfer targets at the U21 European Championships?
Many thanks. {Ed018's Note - I'm sure they have people watching but I couldn't tell you who}

On a scale of 1-10, What are the chances of signing Hulk? How reliable are the rumours?
5 does that help?
06 Jun 2013 20:18:14
I think that "interest" in Hulk is nothing other than pressure to Bayer to finalize the deal for Schurrle on our terms.
JG
Quite possible.
JG, all I will say is this. I think this rumour has a little bit more substance to it. Call it intuition; but I think they have a lot more to them than meets the eye.
EH17
Intuition or your own source eh mate :)

I'm not sure Hulk is a top priority target, Chelsea will not want a repeat of Last season going in to the new season with 1 or 2 strikers, so he is a standby player. IMO

There to go all panicking on de bruyne. Romans advisor has said he's advising chelseA to keep him at the bridge this season. And what he's says usually passes.
06 Jun 2013 19:22:43
hulk a definate to land his dream move to chelsea after we got out bid by the russian team. having problems in his current team will boost his chances. hulk also wanting the move as he hinted before he left his passion to move to chelsea
06 Jun 2013 19:27:28
dzeko and hulk favourite strikers for next season while lukaku will become the super sub which leaves torres moving to napoli to link up with rafa. suarez leaving for spain which means liverpool moving for ba hope not but strong possibilities. ba has been an awesome player for chelsea remember the goal against Man United and had limited oppertunities by rafa
Hulks positions is wide coming in
True Hulk is a winger.
Or striker
I don't know what Ba you've been watching, but he has been a lot worse than Torres this season.
07 Jun 2013 07:20:32
liverpool moving for ba?. u mean free right?

Inigo Martinez looks quality on the ball for a CB. Isco looks different class would be so upset if City got him, should try an get him at all costs.

Just watched the transfer news video clip on a famous blue and white designed satelite providers website where Graham Hunter was discussing Navas, Isco, Alcantara and Tello. Interesting piece, always respected what he says, he discusses the potential transfers for these players. Looks like City are pushing hard for some exceptional talent.

Isco looks an amazing talent. What a brilliant player
06 Jun 2013 17:14:58
Are we still in pole position to land markovic many thanks {Ed018's Note - pole position?}
First on the grid Ed
RD
Better ask Zahavi.

If we have are target why are we not bidding on them, people are being bought, we must no who we want get them bought early and get them in squad. hope we don't leave it last minute. I no the transfer window hasn't opened yet but were losing players to other teams already
The club don't just bid for players. there's things they have to do before they bid. Stop worrying and wait until the transfer window opens. I trust Chelsea will bring in players that will improve the squad.

Jose starts work on Monday. Things will start happening then.

HONDA on a free? {Ed002's Note - He is not free.}
06 Jun 2013 16:32:28
Ed seen some reports about Chelsea maybe willing to let Mata leaving surely they are rubbish?
06 Jun 2013 16:09:49
Ed, maybe a refreshing change, maybe a pain in the arse - but have you heard anything recently about stamford bridge/new site developments? {Ed002's Note - No.}
06 Jun 2013 15:41:52
Ed02 any confirmation that interest in De Rossi is true or just media speculation? {Ed002's Note - See previous answers.]

Mario Gomez:
Crazy situation. 2010/11-39 goals. 2011/12-41 goals. 2012/13 replaced with Mandzukic who scored 21 goals, only 2 more than Gomez this season who played less than half the games. Hope to see him in the blue of Chelsea next season.
Alessandro
He is an awesome goal scorer, but does little else which was why he was dropped I believe.
Well we can have Torres who works hard but doesn't score enough - or Gomez who doesn't work hard enough, but is always in the right place at the right time and scores goals for fun. I believe that Jose could improve his work rate anyway. Also, wouldn't be £50m, much more affordable :)

Would either of you Ed's be willing to list two or three "defensive" midfielders Chelsea retain interest in? {Ed002's Note - No.}
05 Jun 2013 09:05:43
Hi Ed
Is it possible to elaborate on any Chelsea interest in Arda Turan? Many thanks mc {Ed002's Note - I am not sure what can be said. Chelsea made an equiry about Turan when it was becoming clear that Isco would be unlikely. That's it.}
Hi ed002, is there a chance we bite and go back for isco? I find it strange that we will just loose interest just like that
Isco is more thank likely Manchester City bound
Nobody said we lost interest just that there is no point wasting time and resources chasing a player thatis destined to go somewhere else.

Please someone tell me all these rumours about Mata going is rubbish.
If its true I fear that we could be stepping backwards as in my opinion there is no one better in his position at the moment
I don't want it to happen but mourinho will do what's best he's here to make us better and I am very positive that selling mata, isn't on his list. Unless he already has a replacement
Also I can remember back in the day when Jose was in-charge of Benfica he got rid of pobborski ( spelling) who was the fans god, who was the leading scorer and JM sold him as he was not a team player was all about himself and thought he should be guaranteed a starting place. NOW am not saying that is what mata is like at all, but I have looked through posts on hear saying our 3 amigos don't create a lot for our strikers and shoot for themselves= ( a little selfish). AGAIN not my opinion but that maybe because mata is one of my favourites, but again Mourinho will not be afraid of selling anyone but again it always works. Pobborski also later joined man united and was garbage. IN MOURINHO I TRUST
Mata was one of the top 3 players in the PL last season, most clubs in europe would love him. The fact is we are not a selling club, he will only go if he really wants to ans we get an acceptable offer neither of which I can see happening.
Mata is good but Hazard and Oscar have the potential to play better. If he is sold, it will be so we can bring in a wide player, as all three enjoy the centre and mata was played there last season which is why his stats are so good. I like him as a player and he's a likeable person but hazard would be better suited to playing there and mata has neither the pace to play on the wing nor does he deserve to play on the bench. We'll also get good money for him so will defo sign someone good ( I don't know if he's a winger but i'd love to see bernard at chelsea)
I think hazard is better on the wing, where he has more space and can also drift in.
Rather mata in the middle and hazard on the wing then get another winger.
Jordan
I have no dog in this fight but I will say that the hazards best parts of the year coincided with him playing centrally.

ed do you think that if shurrle does indeed sign he will play out on the left or do you think the club are looking at him as more of a striker as an alternative to falcao and cavani. or just a versatile player I guess. {Ed018's Note - I'd go with versatile}
06 Jun 2013 09:08:13
Hulk to Chelsea would be brilliant.
Hulk
Cavani
And a CB
Overrated, shoots to often and with Schurrle seeming likely I don't see where he fits in. Plus at 35mill there are better options!
I very much hope this is an old story dragged up from past years.
Quick powerful strong tricky and skilful plays wide or as striker and scores goals. under mourinho he would be amazing.

any chance of a chelsea bid for strootman or veratti?
cali
Strootman was linked heavily with ManUTD, so i'm not sure on him he does look good though
One Bomb Tom {Ed018's Note - he is probably gonna end up at United}
