If that is the best we can do playing our lesser eleven then it highlights how vulnerable to injuries with our first team we are. All round it was poor and we have nobody who can change a game. I need to be won over but I hope Barkley brings something to the table, anything! There are several I have no confidence in and Bayakoko is heading that way.

It's fair to say Batshuayi doesn't suit our system. What Conte expects isn't what batshuayi can provide, he is not good technically and cannot hold the play and bring team mates into the fold.
Overall very poor today. Barring Willian the rest were very sluggish.

Vardy would suit our system because he constantly runs in behind and stretches defenders, hopefully we use bats in s deal for somebody, bakyoko’s role is that exactly of matic. Break play and pass sideways problem he has is he will never be needed in that role while Kante is there, so his being played as a box to box and he looks uncomfortable in it, Barkley will actually be great in that role, attacking recruits are needed, busy period coming up.

We have not created a chance. The worry is only experience on bench is Morata, nothing in midfield to get a grip.

Pedro was very quiet Drinkwater and Bakayoko bang average but still in it and another chance for the fringe players to prove themselves.

I think barely is a great signing hazard morata and him liking up could be special.
Plus bakayoko bombing on could be great times.
I think bakayoko will be great once he settles.
He had a shocking season before I remember one of the Eds saying then came very good so fingers crossed he does same again.
First half against utd was a glimpse of what he can do he was powerful fast and bombing forward at will.
