Is anyone else tired of Ray Wilkins going on about how bad the Matic deal was? Give it a bleedin' rest man, he obviously wanted to leave!

All Ray Wilkins ever tries to do just recently is stir/ put us down. He just seems so bitter towards us nowadays. Like I've said before I respect his past with us but he should just keep his mouth shut. His comments about us and our transfer business are foolish at best.

Reminds me of Hudson, Hollins and Burley. When they left the club they couldn't stop themselves being critical. It's a shame because it sours the memories of their playing abilities!

For now it apears to be a bad deal but as the season progresses, we will really know if its actually a bad deal or not (based on Bakayoko and Drinkwater's performance) .
I don't know what he has against the club to warrant all these inceasant criticisms.

It doesn't matter anymore mate. What's done is done. We have to move one but we cannot pretend that absolutely nothing has changed.
Fingers crossed that Drinkwater-Kante works like at Leicester City.

To be honest, I kinda get his point. It seems like Matic was the final piece in United's midfield puzzle, as he's allowed Pogba the freedom he needed, which is why experts are already calling it the best transfer of the season. That being said, I have no doubt in my mind, that Bakayoko will be more than a capable replacement and I reckon, he'll be a top player for us, for years to come!

Point is he hardly see anything good with chelsea actions nowadays.

Matic was terrible he's slow all one direction ( back ) he fitting in well and looking the part as he's up against the likes of Fellini Herrera he will look good and in my eyes not that far behind pogba we've got the better deal with bakayoko and drinkwater a lot more mobile better range of passing shooting tackling and speed all round better deal bakayoko just needs time to adapt.

Magic is a good player but he was 29? 40 milli N for a 29 year old any other season who's not a game changed is a steal I think the deal was good for all involved, the issue was you didn't replace him. Similar to us with AOC, he gets his move, we get the player, arsenal get great money for him, transfers this year I believe we're more difficult to negotiate and understand due to hear crazy prices. We're at the point we're we say 'he's only 40 million' seriously.

Baba training makes it even more strange he wasn't included in our named first team squad when Remy who isn't even our player anymore is!
I guess the Eds are correct, it's likely he will be leaving the club!
I would have given him a chance at LWB.

Turkish clubs are interested in Baba Rahman and their window is closing on Friday. He is much more LWM than LB indeed. If he leaves I presume Kennedy will get the chance to be Alonso's backup.

I would like to see Baba given a chance at LWB under Conte.
I wonder if he could gain his fitness by going out on loan to maybe a Turkish club untill Jan and then put in the squad for the second half of the season?

I feel Conte was making a statement by including Kenedy, Remy and Costa; the lack of depth which he has gone on about all pre-season. Kenedy was destined for a loan and probably sale after the China incident as well as being poor, Remy was going or gone when he drew his list up and of course it is highly unlikely given the behaviour of Costa that Conte would actually pick him. However, higher beings 'might' have told him to include him which does not augur well for relationships going forward. I am baffled by the Rahman want. I criticised the buy having seen him numerous times, dangerous going forward but either ambled back or was woefully out of position something he carried forward into the EPL.

As I've said before Baba isn't a natural defender in fact, in my opinion, he can't defend for toffee but Moses wasn't able to defend until Conte got hold of him.
I think Baba should be given a chance to play under Contre but as a LWB.

Tom Moses never played his current position before Conte came to Chelsea. Maybe that was his natural position only he didn't get the chance to play on it.

That's correct antbot and that's why in my opinion Conte should give Baba a chance to impress as LWB.

Apparently there is a president for a player to be added to a registered squad.
So, subject to Baba not going out on loan to Turkey he might well replace Remy in our prem squad.

I don't know if Ed002 has returned, but perhaps, if you have returned, maybe you Can give us an update on Baba? If not, maybe Ed01 or Ed18 might have some knowledge or opinion that you would share? :) It really seems like an odd case.
