I think the problem were having lately is not scoring goals but the midfield hasn't got a general like we use to have who could boss them about and no-one's getting back to help.

Who would you like to see partner Ramires in defensive midfield? I would love to see Schweinsteiger.

Schweinsteiger should have been Ballack's replacement when he left.

Here is Some names as potential candidates:

Schweinsteiger
Kroos
Khedira
Gundogan
Lars & Sven Bender
M'Vila
Capoue
Fernando
Vidal

Believable4 Unbelievable1

M'Vila all day long, hes young, affordable, a great short game passer, a very good tackler and most important hes available.

PB

Agree3 Disagree1

Vidal or M'Vila. Doubtful Juventus will want to sell Vidal so I'd go for M'Vila. Schweinsteiger and Kroos aren't leaving Bayern. Same with Khedira and Real Madrid. Porto are difficult to negotiate with so that rules out Fernando. And I can't say I've seen the others play. So that pretty much leaves M'Vila

Agree1 Disagree1

Agree with PB with M'Vila would love Schweinsteiger but we don't have much of a chance

Agree2 Disagree1

Would love Paulinho but inter seems very, very intrested him in atm so if theres any chance Chelsea sign him they need to step it up.
And yes our midfield is our main problem cause Mikel cannot get the ball forward and thats one of the reasons, Oscar ALWAYS drop back and get the ball forward so we can attack.

Agree1 Disagree2

Only person that really help defending thats Oscar, rest looks too lazy to defend most of the time even Mikel and Ramires.

Agree1 Disagree1

Not sure what ur goin on about last poster, Rami did lay off on the equalizer last week but Mikel should have picked it up but Rami has been one of our best and most consistent defenders all season. Also Hazard is not lazy he tries.

What a predicament we are in at the minute...... Guardiola wants to manage Chelsea but we already have RDM. Most people will say we should take on Guardiola. But come on, look what RDM did with us in like 10 weeks. I wish there was a way they could both be managers. I would love to see the passing game that Guardiola would set up at Chelsea but I love RDM. It is such a hard choice but a good situation to be in..... two good managers wanting to take charge of us.
What are your thoughts guys?
RT

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Take Guardiola and give Di Matteo his old job back and the managers right hand.

Agree7 Disagree2

RT my reply is dont read the daily fail.read the posts, i asked ed002 about guardiola and i know who i believe.

ktbffh

Agree2 Disagree1

Ed002 said that it's unlikely that Guardiola will end up at Chelsea, not that he didn't want to join us.

Agree0 Disagree2

One thing is why i think we wil try get him as a manager is, Di Matteo really is horrible at changing the team week to week so alot of people get tired, i know we dont have the best people on the bench but there is certainly ALOT more he can do than now. And that is gonna bite him in the ass when we are gonna underperform later in the season.
And dear i say if we do not go to the knock-out stages in CL.

Agree3 Disagree0

Honeslty i think it would be a disgrace to give guardiola the job now. RDM has come in as interim coach and won the champions league and fa cup. Hes given the managers job and we are 1 point of top and until recently we were top. We are playing some lovely stuff. If the club said to him "great job but your going to have to go back to assistant manager" theres no way he would take it. He has some flaws but give him time!

Jordan

Agree2 Disagree2

RDM isnt exactly the man down to the trio playing well, & he cant get us to stop leaking goals

Agree2 Disagree1

Unamed i dont get your point,do you think he wants to join us but chelsea are saying no ?

ktbffh

Agree2 Disagree0

Probably a bit of both. That he's unlikely to want to join us and we're unlikely going to want to change manager when it's working so far. If it aint broke...

Agree0 Disagree3

Pep is on his way to manchester

Agree2 Disagree0

Unamed, sorry mate but roman would drop rdm as quick as, if he thought he could get guardiola.

Watched the Football League show this week and, although it is in the Championship, McEachran looks like he is bossing that Middlesborough midfield. Played a part in pretty much all of their goals - finally getting some regular game time and is looking very impressive.

Lampards last season for Chelsea and we have a player who can come straight into the team!

in all honesty mate you say its only the championship but its still a competitive league plus josh is only young so it sounds promising

curt

Agree2 Disagree8

Agree both of you. Didn't do lampard, terry or Bertrand any harm. BLUEBOY1

Agree2 Disagree4

I could indeed see McEachran as a squad player in a year or two, but i still having doubt if he is ever gonna be good enough for Chelsea.

Agree6 Disagree5

And i doubt he is gonna get "straight" into the team, i dont see who he can replace, Ramires? no way thats gonna happend

Agree1 Disagree0

By team I mean squad not starting 11

Ive heard alot about the young chelsea striker islam feruz. Despite being still bring very young does anyone know much about him/what potential he has. Thanks

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He has got a hell of a lot of potential, he's been likened to Rooney in both style and ability - just a case of turning the potential into professional success.

The u21's haven't had the best of starts to the season but along with Feruz there are some very good young players - Bamford, Ake and Kane should all have bright futures too.

Surewould

Agree1 Disagree3

Alot of potential! He's strong, powerfull, fast and a great finisher.

Peds

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah i regularly go to under 21 games and he's impressed me although there have been a few times where he has been very quiet but then again, who hasn't? he was brilliant in the fa youth cup against man u as well last season. and although as Surewould pointed out that are u21's are underperforming, we have about 20 players out on loan - players like josh, de bruyne, chalobah etc so i wouldnt read too much into that

ED002 regarding this Clattenberg case surely Bruce Buck played a big role in the club pursuing the case as he is a top lawyer? {Ed002's Note - Nothing to do with it.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And there's the problem, ploughing in without pausing for thought. Really worried how this will pan out.
