After the recent arrogance of all the Spurs players saying the pressure was on us and how they were a changed side, we have found out tonight that they are still bottlejobs of the highest calibre.
Need to go out Monday and win at all costs. Then Friday should be a lot easier.

Correct cfc we are bottle jobs and haven't learned a thing from last season, well done on winning the league you deserve it, we've always been playing catch up and never looked like finishing top. I believe if we had Conte or Jose we would have won the league by now with this squad. I'm giving poch 2 more years and if he hasn't won anything I want him replaced.

Fair play Raver, you give it out but you can take it back unlike some of the other fans. You have a good starting eleven, but depth isn't great and I think you need a little bit of nouse or experience to push the squad on. Two questions if you don't mind, 1) do you think your players/ manager have talked too much to the media this year? I think Pochettino made a massive mistake declaring the FA Cup game vital and then backtracking when you lost. 2) How do you feel about Walker going, potentially to City?

Next year will be so interesting.
Cote and the club have to prepare a squad that be competiitive in domestic comps and the Champs league.
We will be saying goodbye to a few players and a Legend in JT but we must find the balance that allows us to sign quality players while giving some of a youngsters a reasonable opportunity.

Cfc I fully agree poch talks way to much to the media, take yesterday morning for example he said the pressure will be on Chelsea when we haven't played west ham yet ourselves. I also think walker can go for the right price a good defender but not a class defnder.

I realise this may be premature, but who would we all like to replace Diego?

I think Lukaku is a non starter, I've never seen him link up in tight situations consistently.

Morata is the obvious one, he links well, can play as both a lone striker and a pair etc. Ed001 questioned his work rate, I've not noticed this but I'll take his word on it.

The other is Belotti, he looks a touch raw but looks like a fairly complete striker to me.

The others would all mean a different style of play (I'm ignoring Sanchez because I think he's off elsewhere) Griezman etc are great, but I think we'll look to keep the style of play.

My perfect three would be Sanchez and Hazard behind Morata because they can link up well and when I've seen Morata his work rate is very good. We need someone with a brain who can link up well with Hazard who is our best player so Morata would be my Choice as the likes of Lewandowski and Dybala are very unrealistic. Aubameyang is a great player too. Muller would be another shout I just can't see him leaving Bayern.

{Ed001's Note - Morata's was great, then he returned to Madrid. Not sure whether he is sulking because he is not getting enough game time, it is the way he is being instructed to play or if he has just dropped off his workrate because he feels he has made it. That can often be a problem with Madrid, as they allow the players so much leeway and freedom that they start to lose focus.}

Agree there antonius. I was a fan of Morata before the best team in London showed interest.

Not really an abundance of realistic choice. Not the biggest fan of Morata, although the most likely! Can Morata lead the line and have the presence that Costs has! Doubtful. It's a very hard one to pick really!

Where have you all seen this Morata workrate? I'm presuming from the bench at both of his previous clubs? The guy can't get a game a Madrid, hardly got a game for Juve! Not sure what you're watching but I can't believe any sort of fee over £20m is even being considered - the guy gets no football!
All I've seen on this site lately is "if you want to be the best you have to buy the best" and people wanting to sell the likes of Alsonso and Willian. Fact is Morata isn't Chelsea calibre, never has been, never will be. If you want to be the best let's not mess about going for a guy that's never really proved a thing. Comparing him to Lukaku, an absolute goal machine who's proven in the prem is absolutely ridiculous! They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath! I'd go for Aubameyang, he's available.

More goals per minute from open play than Ronaldo this season.

Played lots for Juve and was very good.

Not an absolute certainty but a more complete player than Lukaku.

Only my opinion mind.

With Antonio Conte wanting Virgil van Dyke to replace JT and Kurt Zouma likely to go out on loan that leaves Cahill, Luiz, Azpi, van Dyke, Ake and Christenson competing for the back 3 positions. That looks a good balance to me.

out of all them defenders what would be the best back 3? , I'm torn because for experience and talent I would say
Azpi, luiz, van dyke, but I would be seriously tempted to play christenson over Azpi in certain games as then all 3 would be very good on the ball and would be a different way to attack, coming from any 1 of the 3, I also think 1 way or another over the next 18 months both christenson and ake should be starting cbs, at this club or at another they both will be world class centre backs.

It seems a waste to spend all that money on Van Dijk when Christensen who is probably our most promising talent coming back.
