Reports that Bayern would sell Sanches for 30-35 million. Also reported that they want Tolisso, so the Sanches story seems likely (Ed002 has also hinted that they'd be willing to sell) .
Now, Ed has stated that Golovin is an alternative to Bakayoko. But I'd much rather we go for Sanches at 30 million. He's massively talented, and seems like a better bet than Golovin. What do you all think?

Personally I think he's over-rated. I may well be wrong though!

I like him as a player Jackson but nothing to indicate we're interested. Ed please correct me if I'm wrong here but he seems like more of a likely Man Utd purchase to me.

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about.}

05 Jun 2017 20:23:10
Oh I know we probably have zero interest in Sanches, J. Just saying that perhaps we should be interested in him if other targets don't work out. Ed stated we have an interest in Golovin, but I'd rather see us go after Sanches instead.

Why would you want a player who although is clearly talented has failed to in anyway settle and adapt to life in Munich If life there is a culture shock to him then i don't see the culture change here being all that different you'd have to assume Bayern have done all they can to make him feel at home. Some players just can't handle that change so to chuck a relatively large sum of money albeit not my own seems a rather large risk that just isn't worth taking IMO.

Saying that though i'm a bit of a pessimist i don't see Golovin has an improvement on what we already have this Bakayoko however looks to have bright future and could potentially turn out to be a great buy should it happen. Though i think when you have a player like Kante in your team he would be the perfect player to allow David Luiz to go back to CDM has he does the job of two people it really would free Luiz up.

Hi Ed, appreciate you're travelling and busy at the moment but I wondered if you had any time to give us a steer on quite how much "work" the club plans to do in the transfer market this summer? Your list of outgoings was quite extensive the other day, which would suggest at the very least replacements in vacated positions would be brought in - but have you any indication on whether they are also looking to bolster numbers with increased amount of games coming, and also to increase overall competition in the squad?

It's only early June but many of us can remember quite "quiet" summers after successful seasons which in hindsight look like a mistake.

{Ed002's Note - The club cannot add players beyond the allowed size of squad Dave but there will be additions.}

Also does anyone else think liverpool spending 40 mill on mo salah a bad move šŸ¤£šŸ¤£.

I think he would be the type of front man Conte would have loved, quick and small. Great season at Roma, I think he would have played a good bit in our current system. Good player, that sort of price though is ridiculous.

I didn't see anything from him when he played for us that makes me think he will do anythng back in the prem.
Average at best!

He may well have improved in Italy BUT in our league he WAS lightweight.

Make no mistakes, Mo Salah is a good player. It is unfair to assess him negatively just because Mourinho deemed him so. Very soon u will add him to the Lukakus, DeBryune, etc as Mourinho can easily discard any player irrespective of his quality. So Salah is as good as Mane.

05 Jun 2017 20:47:54
As good as mane what planet are u on mate he played in a poor league in italy.

Agree0 Disagree3

06 Jun 2017 10:33:31
Actually the italian league is very very strong, I didn't see a PL team in the CL final! Also going by international teams Salah is easily twice the player Mane is. that's a fact jack!
Now stop hating because chelsea never gave him a chance, You know how good salah can be, i mean he single handedly destroyed Chelsea and Tottenham 5 times while playing for Basel. He was warned about joining Chelsea would hinder his career but didn't listen, but now he is fully developed, if you were interested in Dybala you would get a hard on right?
Well Salah basically had more goals, assists, chances created and shooting accuracy and distance covered than Dybala for a weaker team. Stop hating is all i have to say!

Agree1 Disagree1

06 Jun 2017 11:00:02
In basically the same amout of international games and obviously vs very similar teams in Africa, S. Mane has 13 goals to Mohamed Salah's 29! You can easily see from these numbers that a player like Salah is at least much more proffesional than ManeĀ and easily easily just as good!

Agree0 Disagree1

06 Jun 2017 14:32:43
Just because 1 italian team does well is europe doesn't mean the league is better than england nor does it mean its strong. romas star player salah may have been but wel see how lost he looks in the prem and mane is a far better player proven in the better of the 2 leagues wel see as mourinho said about drogba many years ago judge him when he leaves the club so i guess wel do that as u have a hard on for salah so wel end this conversationsšŸ¤£šŸ¤£.

Apparently morata wants the move to chelsea let's go get him an bakayoko an make a statement lukaku had his chance too expensive for me for a fella who never turns up in the big games go get morata what u guys think.

Hazard out for 2 months minimum with a fractured ankle! Just what we need ahead of the new season!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It is the summer and he will likely return soon enough.}

05 Jun 2017 07:26:29
Yup it's some really bad news. Now he won't be able to participate fully in the preparations for the new season. Bad start to the summer for Chelsea.

Maybe not but hed need to pass a medical and chelsea would surely not want to sell der prized asset we are not a selling club to be fair roman wouldn't fancy been bullied by anyone amd im sire hed tell real hazard simply won't be sold as he did with costa in january to china.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jun 2017 10:51:59
Chelsea will not sell Hazard, and he is out for 3 months so he won't possibly pass a medical even if they tried!
