Hi Eds, if possible, could you please explain under what circumstances Traore would be granted a Work Permit and therefore able to return and play for us.
Much appreciated

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea will be applying - and we will see what happens.}

Pray to God that he gets a permit. He'd solve the need for another winger :-)
I'd really be over the moon to see him with the first team squad next season!

Hes good. But in a little concern about his physical condition. He looks quite thin for Premier League. If he can bulk of a little, it could be better. And we still don't know much about how he plays, I mean mostly of the info we got from the videos of his goals.

He's only 19 though, he'll probably get a bit bigger in the future.

Jackson is he actually good enough to be a first team upgrade for our RW position? I've only seen him a couple of times he's played well but is he good enough for Chelsea?

Thanks Ed, i'm of the same opinion Jackson. I really think he can be a really special player for us.

The lad is good and has played well this season in Holland, but let's not get too carried away with him! He certainly wouldn't negate our need to sign another winger! We want to win the Champions League again, we need world class players in every position.

I'll be glad if he gets his work permit, and think he can replace Cuadrado and Salah in the squad; but another world class player to go with Hazard and Costa is a must.

I believe/hope Cuadrado will come good next season. So if that happens and Traore comes back then I don't think we need another winger personally.
I think the big signings should be at centre back and central midfield. That's what we really need right now. Another winger would be good, but I don't think we desperately need one if the clubb believes in Cuadrado.

Of course I'd love it if we could sign a guy like Reus who is world class. But he's not coming and how many world class wingers are realistically available? I struggle to think of any.

Would Traore be classed as a home grown player if he was to become part of the first team squad next season? Forgive me if I'm wrong but I'm sure he has been at the club since the age of 15/16? If so and depending on wether or not he is granted a work permit it could work out really well for the club. There's no doubt he has talent , would love to see him get his chance.

I think he wasn't registered with the club though, so he won't be homegrown.

I like to think I've a good eye for a player as i'm involved in the game but I've been wrong before.
The kid is special MARK my words!

I don't think the club do / should believe in Cuadrado! When a player beds in at a new club, in a new league, you normally see flashes of talent from them even when they're not contributing a lot too a game. I've see nothing from him, he's just looked lost in games and very light weight; plus his a liability without the ball.

I think his failures here and Salah's successes in Italy speak volumes of the difference in quality of the two leagues, rather than the two players.

Jackson is right, there isn't much quality available out there on the winger front. Griezmann playing with Hazard, Willian and Costa would have been ideal but it doesn't look likely. Douglas Costa? Is he an upgrade? Probably not for my money. At least CB and CM should be easier voids to fill. hopefully.

I think your right actually Jackson, I remember now that he was training with the club from an early age but couldn't register untill he was 18.
Greizmann or Reus are the only standout options we have for the wings and both looking unlikely so I just hope Traore is granted a work permit . Would rather we gave the kid a chance than waste money on someone mediocre .

That's exactly what I was thinking. If we can get a world class player in, very well and do it. But if they aren't world class or near world class then I'd rather the club give our on loan players a chance.

Ed
My two questions
1. With another striker maybe coming in (Falcoa or Costa) I know they are both maybe just using as example, would Mourinho think of playing the old pair of Diego Costa and Falcoa together?! Just curious why sometimes we don't attack more! We had a gfa lupus season but I feel some games of we attacked more we would have done just tiny bit better! Man United first game the 2 Mancity games and PSG games all games I felt we scored first but could have put them all away had we attacked more!

2. Knowing we need one more attacking midfielder and knowing Griezman may not happen could Raheem be an option as him going to Man U or Man city could make them scary! Reading Man United targets they could be stacked next year should schweinsteiger Alves Gaitan and Sterling all went! I know they still have to all gel as a team but they would be loaded with weapons especially now good defense could make them formidable opponents!
Again thanks for all your I out and sorry for the long questions! It always seems difficult to get the right gel of players though we must give Mourinho credit all our sold players and or loan players excelled this year after being let go!

{Ed002's Note - (a) I really can't answer questions about tactics. (2) I can only tell you where I know of interest, and there is none in Sterling right now. Nobody will care what Manchester United are doing.}
