Someones got to tell the Liverpool fans to move on from Torres. Its getting ridiculous. Have you seen their Rumour and Banter pages?! Have a look it will baffle you. It's like an obsession.

From what I can gather from Eds and other posts this transfer window is going to be frustrating again. I wouldn't be surprised if we got nobody!

Not only has Chelsea's season been less than successful so far but we can not even negotiate a contract with a player in a position that we need without turning it into some kind of farce. If he is being so stubborn about the amount he wants per week then he obviously doesn't really want to play for chelsea. Let's bring in players that actually want to play for chelsea and not just come here for the money!

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I don't know who deals with our transfers, but they always seem to either fall apart due to bad negotiation or make a complete palava out of it. We need him now, just get it done.

Agree1 Disagree0

Totally agree with the above posts. Have to say since Peter Kenyon left our ability to negotiate and achieve our targets has suffered

Agree0 Disagree0

Think Peter Kenton in fairness just offered however much wages to get the player to join, no good paying Gary Cahill 100k a week if his not worth it

Agree2 Disagree0

Can't say that. How do you measure his wage? In terms of the value he is going to add to the team? If that was the case how much do Mikel, Kalou and Malouda should be on? What exactly is the insentive of him moving to us? We can't pretend we are the highly sought club we once were. This is shown by the number of targets that ditched us.

Agree1 Disagree0

In champions league and have every chance of winnIng trophies and competitions not fighting relegation, the likes of those players mentioned are obviously being paid to much and I hope club wants players that are ambitious and wanna win not just earn nice pay packet

i know the eds dont like to talk about youth players so this goes to anyone, just wondered peoples view on young chalobah and whether they think his long term future lies with chelsea?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

He's been very very good in the reserves this season and he is still only 17, obviously not ready right now for the 1st team, but he could become a big player for Chelsea in the future. Ultimatley the kid is versitile enough to play several positions and is technicaly very good. He signed a new contract today until 2014, so it should be exciting to see him develop.

I was in a restaurant last night in Madrid and Michael Emelano(Chelsea first team assistant coach) was there and i over heard him talking and he said Higuain and Kaka are half way out the door to Chelsea and fees were agreed on. could you get any justification on this ed? {Ed002's Note - No. Michael Emelano is the Director of Football at the club and, like you, he was not in Madrid last night.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Love the Ed's comment haha

Agree6 Disagree1

When Ed002 is around don't write things like this, you only end up looking stupid

OsgoodIsKing {Ed002's Note - His IP address showed him as being in New Zealand.}

Agree1 Disagree1

I was going to say schoolboy error but there's no error about it. How stupid can some people be. Great reply though, as per.
