Guys I'm well pissed off.
Now I'm not posting to moan about Malouda or Bosingwa or formations or substitutions, I'm not even going to moan about the rubberhead of a referee. It's bad enough watching your team toss away a 3 goal lead, then I was waiting to see AVB's interview. I'm neither defending or supporting the manager but it can't have been easy talking to the camera's after tonights game and the way he was treated by sky tv was disgraceful, to be cut off mid sentence like that was inexcusable and I doubt it would happen to Sir purple nose. Chelsea should not give them another chance to offend again, no more interviews, and ban them from pre-match press conference's.

To all those "fans" asking for AVB to select Piazon and Lukaku and all the other 'bright young things', try thinking about it for a min or two. Piazon has not played a single min of senior football and yet you want him to start the game against Man U? Lukaku has looked OK at best, at worst well out of his depth, Bertrand again looks OK but when i have seen him live he is easily caught out of position and not top level yet. I am one of the first to look at the Chelsea squad and say that it is not good enough, but at the moment neither are the young players. AVB is doing an OK job with a squad of players that are to old, to well paid and to comfortable, or just plain average.

A lot of Chelsea fans think they know better, "play Piazon", "Start Lukaku over Torres", "play Josh". And yet the same requests were made of Kakuta, Bruma and Mancienne and look at them now. Bruma went to Leicester and the fans there thought he was very poor. Bruma and Kakuta both played in the FA cup last year against Newcastle when we were knocked out, and both were criticised to one degree or another. And to highlight this further Kakuta has had two loan spells with mid table prem teams and failed to make an impact, and Bruma has gone to Hamburg and is not doing well by most accounts. Mancienne never looked like making it in my opinion but fans here still demanded he play a role. These are the players that Chelsea fans demanded be given a chance, but are clearly either not ready or not good enough.

I strongly believe that the coaches know best, the depth at Chelsea atm is aweful, but players like Piazon and Lukaku are certainly not ready to step into a match against Man U. This summer the squad needs almost a total over haul, after this has happened, only then can we really start to judge AVB, and only then can we really start to see the talented players coming through.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

I agree but i feel piazon is ready and malouda is actually horrible.

Agree4 Disagree1

Id much rather of seen Piazon give it ago and maye not play his best then sit in the stands wanting to kill myself everytime Malouda gets the ball. He just doesnt look like he has any interest in playing for us.

Ive always said bruma and manciene will never be big players, kakuta would do better thn malouda,

Take Malouda, Bosingwa and AVB out of the equation and we win today. I can not put into words just how bad Malouda is, i wouldn't mind if he gave 100% but he looks like he couldn't give a flying f*ck! There 2nd goal came from him getting it on the edge of the box, looking absolutely clueless, losing it and they break on us. And the 3rd one came from him losing it and then Valencia running past him, he didn't even break sweat trying to track him. Bosingwa was just his usual self but on the other side of the pitch, made it even worse. AVB has no instinct whatsoever! He tries to be too clever and think everything through before he does it. Doesn't play Cahill for 3 weeks after hes signed so he can get to know his team mates, sometimes it pays off to just throw a new player in at the deep end. He doesn't have to play it safe all the time. Puts Bosingwa at Left Back because he thinks its too much pressure for Bertrand to handle. Why not just play him and see how he does? Theres no pressure whatsoever if your Bertrand, your 'first' game against Manchester United, no one expects you to play brilliantly so just go out there and enjoy it. I can never see him doing something on pure instinct like Jose did against Fulham after 25 mins.

The best signing we could make is to bring Jose back. Give him the money, give him total control, give him whatever he wants to be honest. Success follows him. We were feared under him, no team would like playing us, they knew they were coming to a fortress at Stamford Bridge where we wouldn't lose. I want that feeling back of pure confidence where no matter who we're playing we know we can win. I think we got a bit greedy, it seems we were not content on just winning trophies, we wanted to win them the right way.

That feeling we could play anyone anytime was a bit special. Its really hard to understand what the hierarchy actually thinks. Undermining mourinho appointing grant shows u that our club doesn't make sense.
Jimbo

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree malouda was terrible tonight, but I thought bosingwa did well against Valencia. He showed him inside in his weaker foot all night and kept him quiet. It's easy to blame the same old players, but the 3 players at Blake for the goals were sturridge, Ivanovic and Luiz. The first pen was just a what u get trying to make a striker defend, the second was unlucky. But how everyone digs at bosingwa when Luiz has the worst positioning sense of all defenders at the club baffles me. He pretty much watched Hernandez run past him and nod home. overall, we threw away a 3 goal lead, but i would have taken a point before the game. we can't carry on blaming the same few people though, it's not just them.

Agree3 Disagree0

Didn't you chelsea fans hate the negative way you played under mourinho? and AVB needs time to change, he is a young guy who hasn't managed for long, he knows one way to play but doesn't have the players for it, give him a season or two to build his team, learn from the defeats and then judge him after ( he has made mistakes but most managers have this year, the league is harder than ever before, any team can take points off you, even blackburn and wolves have goal threats in yakubu and fletcher), Your one of two english clubs in champs league, in FA cup and still 4th in the league, not a terrible season

Alright lads,Liverpool fan here with few comments on your game today.
Without playing well you went 3 up against the scum and then that person Webb put in a match winning performance, fantastic goal from Mata by the way and what a cross.Have faith in Torres he will come good but you need to start putting the ball over him to run on to.
Defence needs some work but you scored 3 and then got cheated by Utds 12th man he really should be banned.
Do think you will pip us for that 4th place but we will push you to the end.

Derek

Believable8 Unbelievable2

We've got u at anfield last away game of the season. If we are gonna get 4th place I hope it's decided b4 then!

Nice to hear a proper Liverpool fans view instead of childish comments from cozinoz. More than a year on and he still can't get over Torres leaving

OsgoodIsKing

Agree6 Disagree1

Whats up with sturridge? thinks hes better than he is doesnt look up just shoots

Agree5 Disagree0

Fair comments, nice to see non-biased fans out there, but don't think we will get 4th if we continue to play Malouda.

Agree3 Disagree1

Agreed Malouda is past his sell by date, what agame it would be at the end of the season if it was a Champions League decider.

Derek

What did I say, OsgoodIsKing? I'm grateful you lot took Torrid from us - I'm pretty astounded you decided to give us 50m as well but thats the sort of club you are, I guess.

"Before all the AVB criticizers come out just realise that they got two penalties which were disgraceful calls and a lucky header. Once again we are screwed over by the officials just like in the QPR game. Howard Webb USE to be a good ref, now I feel he's one of the worst. The sooner technology comes in to help the refs, the better the game will be as Man U will no longer get every decision because of Fergie Power.
Scotty."

This is just one example of your pathetic whining, "a lucky header" you had two goals that where bloody own goals. Admittedly Mr Webb did have a bad game, how the hell did he not send Cahill of and award a penalty? Its swing and roundabouts. Man up.

JWalk

Believable4 Unbelievable5

When did the 18yard box become 20. Is this a new rule for utd. Sturridge foul is the only debatable pen. How can sky let Neville be a pundit on utd games and do they vet shreeves questions to fergie beforehand.
Jimbo

Agree2 Disagree0

JWalk don't come to our site and call me pathetic. You got two penalties which were not penalties. End of.
Scotty.

Agree2 Disagree1

Am a neutral, the evra 1 was a pen, none of the others were close to being pens

Agree4 Disagree1

Webb is def getting worse gives it about 10 seconds and says look at me then gives a dodgy one

Agree1 Disagree1

Watching the game as a neutral, cahill should have been booked for foul on welbeck and free kick given (outside box and welbecks touch took him away from goal, not a clear goal scoring chance), young was pulled down (pen), sturridge kicked through back of evra's ankle (pen), welbeck kicked ivanovich (not a pen), so 2 bens and no redcard about right. But in general ref's seem to be giving so many decisions wrong every week, something needs to be looked at to stop this next season.

AVB is actually clueless. His damaging any progress the young players are hoping to make by sticking with
Malouda - awful
Boswinga - poor
Merieles - poor
If we started with with atleast one kid im sure they wud hv made a bigger impct cuz the top trio simply did nothing.

Bad times for chelsea. Top 4 don't look good and we are in desperate need of a striker. Torres cant score and BEFORE anyone defends him....look at the stats as they don't lie nor does todays miss which should have killed the game. The mre we we rely on him the more we slip.

First time i said this since his appointment. AVB out. This dodgy style of play is bad. I know its a transition period but why nt gv the young players a chance. What are transition periods for. Look at oxlade at arsenal. Tuts at avb

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Agreed, should of given Piazon a run out, not like he could of been any worse than Malouda if he tried.

I have lost complete faith in CHELSEA. The team we used to be and the team are now.

Before all the complaints come in regarding howard webbs stupid penalty decisions, id like to say Torres is just useless. That miss at 3-2 is unforgiveable. Don't understand why his scared to shoot....isit because his scared its going well wide?!?
The quicker we drop him the better chance we gt for champions league football. Didn't think i'd say this but boy we are missing Didier Drogba..... 50million worth of flop.

As for Malouda.....im speechless.!! why does he play. Can anyone recall a single moment in that match he did something footballers are supposed to do...eg. pass, cross etc. As for malouda, if anyone is to blame it is AVB for selecting him. The man is clueless. With so many young kids on the bench and talented ones...just goes to show he ain't got the courage. I mean any of those would have made an impact more than malouda. Sturridge off romeu was another cluless move...inviting pressure.

I'd be surprised if we get champions league football. Just cant see it happening. If we can't hold out victory from 3-0 its suggesting serious problems. Next week against Everton, more of the same. A fantasically WORKED DRaW.

Howad Webb the 12th man of Man u ,gives Sir Alex an early birthday present. Can anyone shed some light on AVB's stubbornness to persists with Malouda? The guy can't even make a simple pass.Though goal shy Torres and Mata were great today.Positive signs ,defense looks good with Cahill.

Didnt concede more than 3? we should have won if it wasnt for a mixture of poor refereeing and managerial decisions. God manutd fans are idiots

Attacking: Better than most games.

Defending: Patchy, first penalty should never of been given, second was reckless, marking for the third was awful.

Overall, performance was poor, shouldn't have let 3 goal lead slip, questionable penalty, have to say De-Gea kept United in it.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Why take Sturridge off and leave Torres on,its crazy,Torres doesnt look like scoring, never mind poor refereeing decisions, good sides dont give a 3 goal lead away, well struggle for 4th place this year.

Agree3 Disagree3

Nevermind taking Torres off, Why was Malouda on the pitch in the first place?
Scotty

Agree5 Disagree0

If a substitution necessary, Malouda should have been off before Sturridge ... but Sturridge still one of the most selfish players in premier league.Did he manage one pass to a fellow striker (ie Torres or Mata?). Having said that, at least his pace worried Evra.

Meireles and Malouda in midfield and Bosingwa at left back. Can't believe we stick with those 3 although didn't expect anything different.
