The full squads have just been released on the official Chelsea website.
What are everyone's thoughts on Marco Van Ginkel not being in the PremierLeague list and only on the Uefa ChampionsLeague one?

He qualifies as U21 this season so doesn't need to be included on the Premier League list.

A little further down on the Chelsea website:-
In addition to the 25-man named squad, clubs can use an unlimited number of players aged 21 or under. For this season Under-21 player is defined as one who has been born on or after 1 January 1992. Under-21 players can be added to the squad during the season.

Van Ginkel is in the premier league squad listed as under 21 player! As are kalas and Blackman

Paying £8 million for Courtois was truly one of the best pieces of business ever. Best keeper in la liga. Will be worth £40+ in two years, think he will be better than Cech as well. No young keeper in the world be it Leno or De Gea or Ter-Stegen are anywhere near Courtois's ability.
On an aside, stop all the negative posts! Yes I'm disappointed Lukaku went on loan but think! How do you feel he feels right now in the squad after Friday? He feels like he lost us a trophy! And some stupid fans unfortunately would jeer him because they would blame him as well. A loan to Everton puts him in a decent team who have the capability to match anyone on their day and they will take points away from our competitors. Judging on reports in Portugal we were quoted €65 million by Porto for Martinez and in my opinion, only a couple of strikers are worth that price and none of them is him! We put too much faith on the Rooney deal and we payed but it's over now. Look at our squad. We have a world class keeper in Cech as he proved Friday. And decent back up in Schwartzer and Blackman. Azpilicueta will be drafted back in now he is fully fit and Ivanovic is a tank. When Terry and Cahill are on form they are brilliant as they proved against United and Luiz I think will become one of the worlds best defenders under Mourinho. Cole is still in the top 5 LB's in the world and Bertrand is decent hard working back-up. Ramires is good in his position, Lampard is a decent option and adds leadership, Mikel is okay, MVG looks a great young prospect and Chalobah is a terrific young talent. Attacking midfield, we have the best options in the world. World class playmakers in Oscar, KDB and Mata and similar quality wingers in Schurlle, Hazard and Willian. I still think Ba is a decent finisher and will score some goals if he sorts out the offside problem he has. Torres in my opinion needs confidence and service and our midfield now should give him this. Eto'o I can only judge on the last game I saw which was the CL final when he was excellent. Lukaku back in January when we are top of the league, maybe Martinez and Mourinho and Chelsea roar to the title!
Lets see some positivity, at least we didn't do business like United or sell our best player a la Spurs!

I'm happy as hell with the squad. The lukaku and Moses loans are the right thing to do. If and I do say if Torres performs for Jose I'm not worried. I know eto will for Jose. I have a feeling he will get our strikers scoring.
