Hi Ed, can you tell us anything about Hazards proposed new contract? I know talks were on going before Christmas but they seem to have gone quiet? Do we have anything to worry about?
Thank you

{Ed002's Note - I have zero interest in contracts. Sorry.}

Do chelsea have any plans to buy any english players?

I'm pretty sure these players we have some level of interest in.

Stones
Mings
Butland
Darlow

Just shows how poor English players are in general. Surely the younger coaches are to blame for not bringing through good players.

Can't remember on which site I and some others had the discussion (tho I'm pretty sure it was ed001 involved) about the coaches seems to bring in more physically complete players, rather than more technical players.

Physically complete such as Walcott, Rooney, Welbeck, Ox, lambert, Carrol, Milner.

Technical such as Adam Lallana and Ravel Morrison.

England doesn't bring through the Silvas, matas and Cazorlas of the world.

There's also interest in Sterling, and perhaps some lingering interest in Barkley (though that's just a guess).

That's an interesting point, Aron.

Forgot about sterling. No to Barkley, I find him ovverated.

Barkley's undeniably talented but he has to work on his consistency. I don't necessarily want him to join but he's got a lot of potential.

Why would we need any. Plenty of great young English talent in the youth set up that i'm sure we will see break through over the next few seasons.

Aron hit the nail on the head when he said "just shows how poor English players are in General." Good players are so rare that teams add 50% interest on their price.
