I doubt we are after Walcott. It's just our media trying to tear Arsenal apart. We haven't given Sturridge a decent chance, let alone Kakuta, to be after someone like Walcott.

JOM will stay+ Josh McEchran no need for DM.

Agree3 Disagree4

Josh McEachren is not a holding mid in my book - at least not at this time. He needs to hit the weight room. Towards the end of the season it was torture watching him get pushed around by some of those big attacking players. Like a kid playing with adults.

Why is everyone against Lampard recently he's quality him and JT are the players who get you through those tough games when ur not playin well

Believable7 Unbelievable13

I'm sorry, but as much as I thank and respect those 2, NO ONE was getting us through the tough times. We lost quite a few of those matches in the middle of the season, and if some players lacked heart, others just lost the ability to play at a high level. It wasn't until we purchased David Luiz when the enthusiasm returned.

Agree13 Disagree2

The mid season blip was when Lampard was injured

Agree3 Disagree12

Actually, it was when Zhirkov got injured. He started regularly in the LM role while Lampard was injured and did quite well too. We were already in the mid-season blip when Lampard came back and he was not able to get us out of it because he never was fully recovered from his groin injury.

Agree11 Disagree2

Then the OP is full of it, because if he said that Lamps and JT are the players who get you through the tough times. How can Frank get you through the tough times when he's out injured?? And I recall JT being in the line-up in our slump as well. He was wrong on both counts.

Agree11 Disagree1

Er we had the tough time because of players like Lampard being out

Agree1 Disagree10

Er... and when he came back we overtook Man Utd to win the League and beat Barca to win our first CL. I got ya'... I like living in a dreamworld too.

Ed, how come Chelsea only want tosign one central attacking mid? If he got injured whever he turns out to be we'd be back to aquare one with old ass Lampard having to slot in. Ok we may have Sanchez or whoever else but I think that we need atleast 2 central attacking mids. One as support and one as a starter. Do you not agree? {Ed002's Note - I am never going to answer questions followed by "Do you not agree?"}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Ed, do you not agree that you won't answer a question followed by, do you not agree. {Ed002's Note - I do not.}

Agree4 Disagree0

We have Sanchez? When did we sign him?

Many of Chelsea fans including Ed's are behaving as worse rednecks. Do You really think it is all about money?

Believable0 Unbelievable9

Nobody said it was. if you bothered to read the posts uou would know that there are factors apart from money

Agree4 Disagree0

Well is all about money, from a players point of view. You don't here them agreeing to a pay cut like the rest of us do you.
A, Young said, he was moving to m#nure for medals, but it was funny that his pay went from £60,000 to £120,000 a week.

Agree8 Disagree3

Disagree. There are many players that were or have been offered lots of money and still declined. With regards to A. Young the primary reason for moving was MU. The fact he hwas got more money almost comes automatically since Aston Villa are a smaller club. Are you telling if Fulham offered him 120k he would move?

Agree1 Disagree5

Well 120k is only 10 k differenc so I wouldnt think so do you, there wouldnt be much point. But if I was A.young and fulham come an said theyd pay me 250k a week to play then ofcourse ide leave united. But thats just me, I happen to be very motivated by money ofcourse there are other ppl that would stay put for glory.

Agree5 Disagree1

Why is this argument even on a Chelsea forum? Th only mention of Chelsea was the OP calling us all rednecks...

Agree8 Disagree0

Listen guys R.A. is earning his money hard the way he does and i repeat is his money.
No one has right to overspend his donations to the club with frenzied ideas that Chelsea has to sign every player with overated price+unproven especialy in EPL.
Did anyone saw "great Neymar ore great Ganso" both of them priced 90mil$ for what? You can find at least 15 players in europe on their level wich would cost 4 or 5 times less. 90mil$ for Pastore who was brought 2 years a go for 9mil$ you are free to check data.
I am sick of reading posts of imature people who won't spend 30pounds for ticket but would like that someone spends milions on players they only heard of and heard that they are expensive(after watching spin doc story on youtube).
Yes it is all about money for agents and managers but not for players.

Agree0 Disagree5

"I am sick of reading posts of imature people who won't spend 30pounds for ticket but would like that someone spends milions on players they only heard of..."

Well, I know that it will probably be hard for you to grasp, but some bloke spending £30 for a ticket has nothing to do with a billionaire spending his own money for transfers. Poor comparison.

Oh, and while you're at it, please list the 15 players in Europe who would cost 4-5 times less than Neymar and Ganso and are on the same level. Certainly there are real good and proven players out there, but no way would they cost £8-10M. In a world where Andy Carroll commands more than £30M, good luck finding a "cheap" prodigy. This is 2011, not 1995. Accept it.
