I must say Mikel has raised his level of performance significantly. He keeps things very simple, and provides super cover for our defence. Mikel and Fabregas played a great game today and should continue to do so in Matic's absence who I feel needs to improve.

I rate Zouma highly and I must say he will boss the premier league for years to come. I love the guy.

Great response from Costa, despite being criticised and booed by fans he has shown great discipline and is looking like the player of last year.

Willian has been a revelation this year. Looks dangerous every time he is on the ball.

Some papers are reporting we are looking at Stoke's Bojan as a potential January signing - Ed, do you know if we are looking at him as a potential signing?

I know we haven't shown any interest in this guy, but I believe Emre Can would be ideal next to Matic. Them two with RLC and Rami competing with them would be a great CM/ CDM pairing.
Can offers good protection to the back four, has a good passing range and a shoot on him too.

On another note, how would people feel to see Bertrand Traore go on loan to another EPL team? He has a lot of potential but certainly won't fore fill it playing with out reserves.

Finally, if or when Teixeria arrives, who's place in the team will he take? Him and Willian on the wings with Hazard in the middle (10). Which leaves Pedro, Oscar, Traore, and potentially Cesc and Remy all on the bench. Seems like someone must be leaving surely?

Anyway happy new year folks and I hope Ed doesn't have a heart attack this month! RTFP lol.

Can is a very, very important player for LFC. There is no way they would sell him to us.

I'd sell Oscar he's been way too inconsistent for too long. Then I'd loan Traore and Kenedy to premier league sides where they could adapt to the league. Pedro hasn't convinced me since his debut I think he's a good substitute with experience to have around. I'd definately sign Teixeira though we so need a winger that scores goals.

Texeira isn't a winger, he plays behind the striker and with 26 goals in 26 appearances this season you'd have to line up with Hazard on the left, Texeira in the middle and Willian on the right. I'd get rid of Oscar ASAP to be honest, he's had long enough now and isn't progressing.

I would sell Oscar also as that is where there is value but I have trouble with the 'loan to another Premiership team' for Traore and Kenedy. If they are good enough to play regularly for someone else then they should be offered opportunities with us. We need to bear in mind in my opinion Costa will be gone and there are doubts about Hazard being around and as for Pedro, he was not a good buy.

Sell Oscar and get coutinho. Great dribbling, passing and scores long range goals instead of trying to walk it in like we do.
