ED002 do the club not feel Chalobah may be ready to step into the first team next year? he has been bossing a lot of games in the championship is he held in high regard at the club?

BLUEBLOOD {Ed002's Note - He is a kid and next season is a long way off.}

Hey ED,

A seemingly reliable journalist has just said that "Rafael Bentez has been given a
verbal warning by Chelsea Football Club. His time is coming to an end. More meetings are
planned. "

What say you ED?

Thanks

Samir {Ed002's Note - I have nothing to say about it.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Yea I saw that aswell and he also said roman has lost his will to win but then a couple of hours later he said roman is confidant of getting klopp and giving him 60m to spend!

Dude. the problem with some of the fans here is that we simple are not patient enough.
Season was long over. and this is in the rebuilding of chelsea.
we have to be patient. results would be against us. But If we are in CL year in year out. we would probably attract good players.
Rafa bentiez needs time.
it was not his tactics cost the game. most of the time. it was our stuppid silly mistakkes that cost our game. injuries, thin squad etc.
after leading for 2-0 for almost 85 mts. with a current staring 11. what you expect a manger to do. is beyond me.
I can see fans calling him useless of starting torres and Berndand.

Lets be honest. if he don't start torres. roman would fire him. simple.
berdnand is prefered over marin. not over mosses.
marin is very new. and he is not that good in tracking back or defending.
Berndad does that job.
and ed. who signed Berdnand?
if he was useless why did we bought him.

Nigeria just won 2-1 so mikel and Moses won't be back til after the semis at least!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Won't be back for Wigan, will be back for at least the Sparta Prague game. Even if they lose the semi there is a 3rd/ 4th place game

Agent Rafa, sent him to help LFC ha, ha : -D

His mummy told him if he didn't drink his milk he would only be good enough to play for liverpool.

He must of drank too much milk because he's now far too good to play for Chelsea.

And only 12 million. LOL

MR EM

Agree8 Disagree5

Banter aside, as a chelsea supporter I think his game is made for the system that liverpool play. I know we can't keep unhappy players but liverpool will be a hell of a lot stronger with sturridge linking up with suarez talk about helping the opposition.

We need someone like Dembele for our midfield.

Watching him for Tottenham now he's so under rated, plays in the hold with Parker and he controls everything.

He's strong aswell although he's not the biggest a great passer and so comfortable on the ball, also proven in the premier league.

CfcBenWxm

Believable15 Unbelievable1

Agree with you also think Strootman could be a midfielder we should look at a great leader and defensively minded box to box player.

Agree10 Disagree1

Blaming Rafa or trying to sing for RDM will not mask the massive mistakes made by the hierarchy of Chelsea FC management.

The Nigerian Director of Football, who is the allegedly responsible for all the signings going back to the time when Carlo Ancelotti was the manager, should be asked about the impact of his signings and also about the lack of a strong squad and poor plannning.

As someone looking from outside, I can clearly see that Chelsea fans are not prepared to ask the right and tough questions. Instead pretty much most of fans have taken the easier but wrong way of putting all the blame on Rafa for all the club's wrongdoings.

Did you just comment on the wrong post?

What are you going on about?

CfcBenWxm

Agree2 Disagree0

Why does it matter that Emenalo is Nigerian?

RSM

Agree2 Disagree0

Comment on the Wrong post. Quite correct.

The whole point is how can you keep firing managers and not question the guy who has been responsible for all the signings made since Torres signed in JAN 2011.

Surely after four managers, you have to ask yourself if you have recruited the correct players.

And that's where the non performing Director of Football comes into the picture. .

Real CF have conceded the Primera already, but they crash out of CL at the end of the month, I won't be shocked if they have parted ways on "mutual agreement".

What jobs would appeal to jose. Assuming fergie doesn't retire and arsenal keep wenger, it would leave a return to italy, paris, man city or chelsea. if man city are going for a complete overhaul then they may well see jose as the man to do it.

Agree1 Disagree4

Fergie is not going anywhere. I doubt Wenger would be gone if Kroenke is there. If Usmanov takes over, then I expect Arsenal to go all out and change the phylosophy which was instilled by the current management. But that's a big if. As for City, they may be in the service for a manager if they decide to part ways with Mancini and the club would suit Mourinho, of course.

As for us. I just don't think we'll be welcoming back Jose. Too much of a fairy tail ending for our battered club.

JG

03 Feb 2013 13:09:18
Real Madrid need to dismiss Jose sooner rather than later. If that is the case then we will surely make a move and have him as our permanent manager. I very much doubt RA will try pinch Jose from Madrid as he would have to pay massive compensation etc and Jose is very unlikely to be at Madrid beyond this summer.

Folks I'm afraid we are stuck with the WAITER until the summer because I can't seem to think of an alternative at this point of the season unless the board can surprise us someone and bring another interim manager from somewhere lol

My possible candidates for the job expecting Moyes to sign a new contract:

Front runners:

Michael Laundrup
Jose Mourinho
Steve Clarke
gianfranco zola

Hopeful candidates that won't happen:

Jurgen Klopp
Diego Simione
Guus Hiddink

Hell no!:

Gianluca Vialli
Rafa Benitez
Andriy Shevchencko

Who I would like to see: Mourinho!!

Ed I have been wanting to ask that the other day you said that Chelsea have only ever sacked 3 managers during the roman era. Can I explain a bit about that. Obviously when you get time. Thanks
Matt {Ed002's Note - Can you point me at what you think I said please? I don't really understand your question.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That only scolari AVB and RDM were actually sacked from Chelsea? {Ed002's Note - Where did I say that?}

A quick note to all chelsea players MATCHES ARE 90MINS LONG so why switch off at 85 every bloody game.?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Hi guys, newcastle fan here, great game yesterday, based on what you seen, do you think newcastle will be safe? And do you rate their new players.
I wish you well for the season, and I do think You should have had a pen, and hope BA is ok, didn't deserve the reception he got. {Ed002's Note - I am sure Newcastle will be fine. Sissoko is a very good player and he will be the pick of the bunch with Mbiwi. Gouffran is seen as a fine player but has never managed to score as many goals as expected. Amalfitano has sort of passed me by. Marveaux who arrived last season but has suffered injury issues is also a good player. Debuchy was a snip.}

He was an interim coach, not under contract.

eds do you think we are good enough, with luiz, hazard, moses and mikel coming back, to finish in the top four with rafa in charge. Or do you feel that a change in manager is needed again? David {Ed002's Note - I am sure the team will be fine.}

The quality in sissoko for newcastle. he's got similar quality to yaya toure and fellaini but with bags of pace. Why are we constantly looking for players who cost £20m plus, when he was bought for less than £2m.

Rafa is a joke, how many times have we let teams score 2 goals in a row after being ahead? Anyone good with stats? For this stat I would say red rafa is the worst for this, we are already the butt off the "losing your dog" jokes

Ramires is the most technique less 0brazillian I have ever seen. I know he wrks hard and all but the fact he can't pass or control a ball properly for a brazilian I have say he is poor.

P. S. Nw the window is closed I can start psting again. Good times.

ELI

Believable5 Unbelievable1

In order for Ramires to be effective like last season he has to be in a three man midfield with a holding midfielder and a creative player! Going forward I'd personally like to see Oscar deeper with either David Luiz or Mikel alongside him and Ramires, play Mata and Hazard roaming infront of the three! We play with attacking fullbacks so Mata and Hazard don't have to stick to the wings! If we lack width bring Moses into the game! The signing of Isco would be very beneficial in a 4-3-3 system too!

Like many recent experements the 4-2-3-1 has been and abject failure! They have to revert back to 4-3-3 soon, don't they?

Surewould

Agree4 Disagree1

I agree, he is unbelievably un-skilled on the ball and slows play down except when he is in full sprint.

At long last people can see Ramires is a poor player as good a tackler as Paul scholes head down and runs into trouble can't pass Get Fernando from Porto asap

Agree2 Disagree2

Cali & Eli, I bet you 2 plastics were raving about rami last year when he scored the chip vs barca, you don't score goals like that being unskilled or having no technique, yes he's abit out of form over the last few weeks but he's only a young lad.

He was playing wide right when he scored that goal
Who's plastic now

Agree1 Disagree1

Cfcmatt,

Ive thought it all along, I don't doubt he is a great player, he is just technically poor.

cali

Agree0 Disagree0

He was playing right back at the time I think.

Agree1 Disagree0

I find myself one of only a handful of his supporters. First off may I say that he has been run into the ground recently with his energetic style of play, having to play 90 minutes twice a week in the most grueling position in the world, and he's next to lampard and I cover more area in my house during a game than frank does at this point. Once mikel and Luiz are back and he ca get rested I think we will see a different player.
