That was a very poor Villa team and on that performance they may well struggle to get back to the PL quickly. I thought it looked like a work out for Chelsea and the chance to see a new set-up was refreshing. RLC did nothing to suggest he should not be given another game, likewise Miazga who looked more than competent on the ball. Regardless of the win Baba Rahman was a waste of money and is not our answer at left back and once again Pedro looks decent when there is no pressure. For me the interesting one was Pato; too early to see if he warrants anything permanent BUT it is clear there is/ was a very classy player in there and I for one would like to seem stay injury free and get match games or part match games. Anyone else see the game the same?

That's a very fare assessment, I thought courtoise looked very flappy at times, and very good on occasions. That probably summed up his season. Felt sorry for Kennedy as everything just went wrong for him on the day. But he never stopped trying.

C1915, spot on - good to see Miazga and Pato. but, my God, Villa were awful.
