Hi Ed, just wondering.
1) Bearing in mind that we had a bid rejected, with the current left back situation could we again be interested in Juan Jesus?
2) Also are we interested in Ricardo Van Rhijn? I remember we were looking at him a while back.

{Ed002's Note - (1) No. (2) No.}

Fabregas is available for 30m£. It's now or never if Chelsea plans to win any trophy in close future!

Really? The success of our "near future" depends on if we sign Fabregas or not? You must be a joker mate. Honestly doubt the signing of Fabregas would make that much an impact on our "near future". I respect its your opinion what I don't respect, is that it makes little sense.

P.S. Yes he's a very good footballer but not that good.

Not a fan of bringing in Fabregas. I'd want more physicality in central midfield, someone who is athletic but has good touch as well. Fabregas is certainly a good player, but I want a more physical specimen ala Pogba or Javi Martinez

{Ed018's Note - yea there's quite a few players I'd want before Fabregas.}

Well, Fabregas is one of most creative players in the world. Lack of creativity was the main reason why failed this season. That's only my opinion JM said it himself. Another player who posses creativity is Toni Kroos. Fabregas advantage is PL expirience and fact that he is homegrown player in England. On the other hand Kroos is younger.

Now I am going to make you angry. This is the moment when Chelsea should sell Hazard, his price has reached maximum. Since the way he plays is read by opponents(he forgot when was the last time he scored) in 2015 Chelsea won't be able to get more than 30-35m€for him. Reinvest money to right strikers and proper outer midfielders for thd future.
Ending pass in football should go on central forwards which is not the case how Chelsea played last two seasons. Chelsea midfield isn't creative and effective. We may laugh at Liverpool midfield but their central forwards scored 50+ during last season.

{Ed018's Note - if you think Fabregas is the future and Hazard isn't you've lost the plot then}

I think Hazard would benefit greatly from having a left footed left back making overlapping runs. Azpi was very conservative in attack on the left (perhaps because Jose told him so, or perhaps because his left is his weak foot).
The overlapping full back would drag at least 1 defender away from Hazard, who was always being double or triple marked. He's still only 23, try not to make such assumptions.
Hazard is quite an unpredictable player. He's not going to beat his defender 100% of the time cause you know, nobody does that (not even Ronaldo).
I don't think we should cash in on Eden, unless someone bids like above 100 million, then I'd consider it. There's not a lot of players on the planet who could come in and replace him (aside from Messi and Ronaldo, I think perhaps Reus could).

No thanks to Fabregas. I'd prefer to keep Ramires to be honest.

Ed018 I wasn't comparing Fabregas and Hazard. First one is central midfielder and thd other one is not a winger(can't cross) neither attacking midfielder simply cause Oscar, Willian and Lampard are better than him on that position. I was talking about creativity, final pass, employing central forward. So Fabregas or Kroos are kind of players Chelseamneeds so badly. On the other hand there are many players that can play winger if not better than not worse than Eden. If you ask me who would be Chelsea future Hazard or Oscar the answer is Oscar.

Nkch you do realise you are skipping here. Firstly like jackson and Ed018 pointed out I can name five players of the top of my head that most would take over Fabregas. May I? okay I will. Koke, Pogba, Kroos, Barkley, Vidal. Now those players are by no means imaginary cause as Ed has pointed out we are indeed interested in them, which brings me to state that you are so wrong to say our succees lies on the signing of Fabregas. Secondly, concerning Hazard. Obviously you have some sort of issue regarding Hazard, how you can slate our best attacking player of last season by a country mile is beyond me. Hazard is easily the best young player in the world especially for the price we got him for. His stats for us i'd unbelievable and I honestly think we can get anyone to replace him bearing in mind, price, age, current ability and also his potential. He is far from the finished product and he's playing this well imagine him in a couple of years more so under TSO. So dude give it a rest already he is no sale area for us only if ofcourse PSG or Madrid throw in a huge offer. Finally, though I do agree we lack in the final pass ply I do also have to stress that Hazard did creat more goal scoring oppurtunities than anyone else in the EPL so maybe our striker should be taking more of the blame for that and seem we are going to sort that out hopefully we get Pogba or Kroos someone in that mould beside matic that would setup perfectly and give a little more freedom to our attacking mids and also give them the ball quicker.

To ELI,
I am afraid you didn't quite understood what I was talking about.
You can't compare Kroos, Fabregas, Hamsik, Modric, Pirlo, Iniesta, Xavi or Oscar with Matic, Pogba, Vidal, Rakitic, Khedira, Lampard, Gerard or Ramires because they are different type of central midfielders. First group has''the pass'' which is called clinical pass. Second group are physical, energetic players who able to change rhythm of the game. They're also defensively better.
Chelsea needs at least one more player from each group.
About Eden Hazard. I don't have an issue when it comes to him, but IMO JM does. If he wanted Hazard he woulbe already Real Madrid player in 2012.You probably heard about spin doctors. That's exactly what's happening around Eden Hazard. The best young player in the world, says who. Paid journalists, his agents, Chelsea board everyone who can make money on him. He is excellent player but hardly irreplaceable.
Chelsea has to change style and tactics, because what it looks this season isn't really promising.
The end of August is far away and we will what will happen next season. Cheers.
