Great to see Willian back to his imperial best, creating goals, scoring goals, work rate, fantastic set pieces. Our player and players player of the year a season back. Had a very difficult period last season when his Mother sadly passed away but now back. Saves the club £80m to replace him.

Quite agree and still cannot understand why so many on this site did/ do not rate him. We are lucky indeed to have him as an uncomplaining (when-not-starting)
member of the squad of high quality. Excellent footballer, and person by all accounts.

i still don't rate him at the elite level simply because he doesn't give us 10-15 goals or more a season consistantly his work rate is great but to play in an attacking 3 with hazard an morata both hazard an the other attacker both ahpuld be chipping in at least 15 goals a season each to take pressure off morata
. hope willian continues his good form i do like him just think he's a position that can be improved.

Willian had one of his best games for a long time and appeared to be enjoying himself, I just wish he would score more considering the opportunities he has with a good shot in both feet. I also thought Drinkwater had his best game and I would play him alongside Kante and give Bayakoko a breather. Drinkwater uses the ball far better than him and does not lose it it as much. That said, Stoke were dreadful.

One good performance and everyone is singing his praise. I don't rate him anymore cos he doesn't seem to be playing with his heart anymore. Technically, he is better than Pedro but You can virtually touch the passion that Pedro plays with.

Ed001, first of all I'd like to wish you a happy New Year! Hope your 2018 may be full of love, friendship and good health :-)

And once again I would like to ask you for a favor. With Ed002 rightly declining to provide our page with information we turn to you, our savior, in our time of need lol :-P January is about to start, and I was just wondering whether you've got any Chelsea related information (regarding targets or maybe players going out) . I suppose Sandro will still be of interest if Juve are willing to deal in January, but perhaps the club would look to add a striker as well? Morata can't play every game, and with Conte seemingly unable to trust Michy I do think we desperately need another attacker (an out-and-out striker or a versatile attacker) .
Maybe also a push for Goretzka so we don't get left behind? He can't be that expensive and would fit our 352 perfectly.

I must congratulate the club on selling Matic for £40 million. He was slow and lacking in mobility over the last 2 seasons but brilliantly protected last season by Kante. That made him look better than he was. After all the pundits and ex players slating us for selling him (just because we are Chelsea) he is now looking a real donkey in that man utd midfield. How ironic that his replacement yesterday was Danny Drinkwater who man utd sold to Leicester! I know we make plenty of mistakes in the transfer market as well (sold De Bruyne, Salah etc) so we obviously can't recognise talent either. (oh, wait a minute, that was Jose who bombed them out wasn't it! ) . 😁.

I've been saying from the start that it was a good deal to sell Matic for 40 mil. Obviously, it's never ideal to sell to a rival, but I don't think we've been close to missing him in our time, and I also believe, that Bakayoko WILL turn out to be a fine player for us :)

Jose is finished he'll be out of utd by end of season. shame I wanted them to come 10th my reckoning back to madrid.
