Does anyone else get the feeling Chelsea aren't quite done yet? Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Chelsea have one player over the limit for the HG quota. If talks about MVG going to Milan on loan then I think we'd be a bit lighter in and around that CM/DM position. I just have a strange feeling that Abramovic has one last trick up his sleeve and will get Pogba. he's homegrown (I believe) so it would make sense, he'd reset the English transfer record and we all know how RA likes to be number one at everything and we also know he loves a deadline day signing. Just a hunch but would be a crazy signing.
Any how, Chelsea have already done some magnificent business so far. Costa looks godly doesn't he

Dont want to rain on your parade but Pogba won't be coming to Chelsea on deadline day.

What a fantastic transfer window - Fabregas £28m, Costa £32m, Remy £10.5m, Luiz out £50m - brilliant work Chels.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And to think that only cost £20 mill happy days! let's now.watch UTD panic buy!

Agree0 Disagree0

D.Costa release clause was 35m€, Fabregas 33m€, Remy was 8.5m£ which is 10.5m€ , Luiz was sold for 50m€ which is 40m£ and Lukaku was sold for 36m€ plus Chelsea saved around 10m£ for next two years after offloading Torres and replaced
Him with Remy. Really fantastic transfer window financially and professionaly. And team finally plays excellent football.

Agree0 Disagree0

Plus don't have Cole, Torres or Lampards wages on the books either.

Ed018 do you know if any more players will be heading out on loan such as chalobah?

Much appreciated.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - I would think Chalobah would head out on loan but I haven't even heard his name mentioned recently. I think most of the other kids who needed to go out on loan have done so}

Could be possible tht we send van ginkel on loan keep Chalobah. Might be an.option

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha yeah Wheely, I just replied that exact same suggestion to your post on the rumours page :)
You know what they say about those great minds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha. possible because we ain't heard anything about him

To all people on this page who were laughing in June, July or August when someone mentioned Loic Remy as potential Chelsea signing-YOU CAN LAUGH NOW.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - come on everybody and have a laugh. whatever that means}

Don't really remember anyone laughing, or anyone saying Remy was a potential signing. Maybe I don't pay enough attention.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't remember anyone laughing at the suggestion of remy either. Must be true though as chn seems to know everything that has happened and what is going to happen.

Ed002 just on Cech is it likely he leaves before the window closes?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Since MVG is going on year loan to AC Milan it's hard to believe that Čeh will leave as well.
Now at midfield we have Fabregas, Matic, Ramires, Mikel and Oscar. Fivepplayers on 3 positions.

Hey Ed018/Ed002, I read somewhere (don't know if it originated from Twitter or not, I don't use it) that MVG will go on loan to Milan after all. Have you heard anything about that?
And if it's true, will the club be looking to reinforce the central midfield position or are they presumably happy with the current inhouse options?

Cheers guys, and good look for the last hours of transfer madness.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - it's likely he will go to Milan on loan but I don't think there will be anyone coming in for center midfield unless something changes}

Alright then I hope some of the young midfield players like Chalobah and Baker get a chance in the Capital One Cup etc.

Thanks, Ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed018's Note - yea i'd really like to see Baker get some time at some point}

Also think that chelsea only I say 'only ' but still is a lot of money are paying 10 million because when Drogba goes next year think they will spend big again on a striker sorry but I do all for giving the youth ago but I don't see it

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Looks like we going to get destro next year to replace drogba

If Remy does come there's people on here showing there opinion in a negative way which is fine but what we've got to understand is its happened a couple of days before the window shuts and Remy is tried and tested in premiership and scores goals. I am more relaxed if costa isn't fit and I see Remy up top then if I saw Drogba (legend) Torres destro etc at this time. End of the day he scores goals in prem, good buy my opinion

Arsenal pull out of the race for Remy.

He scored 14 goals in 26 Premier League appearances for Newcastle last season, that's a decent record in anyone's book. I know Ba had a decent record at Newcastle too but comparing the two is a bit decremental towards Remy. He is a genuine international class striker who, as a backup, will hopefully be a great addition.

I really hope the Van Ginkel loan to Milan goes through. It'll be experience for him at a major club where he should play enough games without playing to much as they aren't in Europe.

Great start to the season, it's going to be an exciting one!

Clearly we need a third striker and time is now short so even if I was keen on us bringing in Destro that probably hard to do before Monday giiven Roma's statements and probably price hikes towards deadlines(unless things have already advanced behind the scenes, but move for Remy suggests not). so probably best to secure Remy rapidly -- he has a great scoring record in Premier League and is bound to be needed in plenty of games even if Costa not suspended (but bet he is at some stage!) or injured. However have a nasty feeling about Arsenal. (well in general, but in this case about them getting Remy rather than us!)

I'm glad the transfer window will be over tomorrow. Just hope a striker gets bought (please let it be Destro, pretty please. ) and maybe a midfielder but that seems doubtful at this point.
We'll finally know what the team will look like.

On a different note. We like to play counter attacking football, but I don't know whether Hazard is really suited to that. It just lessens his impact on the game so much when we play that way.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I though Hazard is world class winger. So how come world class winger doesn't suit CA football?

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't call Hazard world class, not yet at least. He's an amazing player with plenty of room to get better.
But I just feel like he's more suited to a game where we've got more possession. He's awesome to have on the team in any style of play because he has the ability to decide a game with one run. He's always a danger, but (and this is just my opinion) he can have much more of an impact.
Just to be clear, I'm one of the fans who do NOT want him sold under any circumstance.

This is why I worry that costa gets injured because the man is a beast,! Gives everything every game, fight passion and goals! Him and cesc are having brilliant starts at Chelsea, remy is an ok back up, hopefully arsenal don't nick him, if they do we need to move fast but who's out there,
