There has not been any single cup match that we out played our opponent and won it in style. Here is our record in the last two seasons.

FA Cup - Chelsea vs Liverpool - Won
UCL - Bayern vs Chelsea - Won
Europa leagues - Chelsea vs Benfica - Won
Super Cup - Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid - Lost
CWC - Chelsea vs Corinthians - Lost
Super Cup - Chelsea vs Bayern - Lost

6 trophy matches in two season and we won 3 out of 6, but how did we won them, that is the question, we were completely out played in every single one of the above matches - against A.Madrid was a nightmare. So what's the problem with us in a cup matches?
For the love of GOD, I need to consult the Oracle for Remedy.

Take your negativity somewhere else and for the love for the love of god don't post stuff like this again please

Agree0 Disagree0

So let's get this straight, we won the fa cup, champions league and Europa cup and lost three unimportant cup matches, and you want to moan. Give me strength.

Agree0 Disagree0

We won the three most important games from your list. The Super Cup and CWC are nice to win but are ultimately inconsequential.

Agree0 Disagree0

3 out 0f 6 is good. Am not moaning or being negative but if u guys take the Blue classes of a bit, You would clearly see the manner at which we won those cup, It nearly send me to the hospital for heart attach – Am only saying there should be an higher enthusiasm when we are in for any Cup matches.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sid, let me give u strength since we did not win the two super cups and the CWC, U now label it as unimportant cups - Is human nature though and I respect your opinion but I bet u every Chelsea fan was crying for the CWC because we don't have that one in our cabinet.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't care how we play provided we win.

Agree0 Disagree0

When did Liverpool out play us. They had 20min of preasure towards end of the game, enjoy following man city this year

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously take your negative gibberish elsewhere. Just be glad we're winning cups. Some clubs would dream just to get to a final and I remember not to long having the same dream about Chelsea. Some fans are so spoilt these days. Why start picking apart past glorys. We took the current 'best team' in Europe all the way last night and the desire and passion shown by players like Hazard, Oscar etc should be noted. There's a long way to go in the season so don't start picking the team/performances apart already.

we were in final of six cup and you are been negative how many clubs can be proud of this in two years boy

Agree0 Disagree0

Take your negative gibberish elsewhere - No thanks, this is the perfect place (am adamant) - "Some clubs could only dream of winning trophy's" - that is their problem and has got nothing to do with me, call me spoilt fan or whatever but I know the Chelsea team is capable of beating anyone that is why I want them to win any cup that comes their way (my opinion though). PEACE

Agree0 Disagree0

Your not a Chelsea fan, just a glory hunting slug

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank god Marley is back.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy post make sense, stop the indirect abusive words you are throwing at him - he don't want to see his beloved club lose in a cup match and that is what any true fan would desire, enough of the words play.

Agree0 Disagree0

His beloved club? The way he's talking he's only followed Chelsea since 2012. Some fans need perspective big time. Win or lose I support Chelsea, any defeat hurts but I'm not on crying about things I can't do anything about. Get over it, move on and with the Chelsea of today the next final will be just around the corner.

Is there still a chance of us signing a young center back, such as mangala or will that not happen at all? {Ed002's Note - I cannot sensibly answer questions which ask if "there is a chance".}

I think that either Man U or more likely arsenal will make a bid for mata before Monday night and that he will be leaving the club. Despite all the claims that he is coming back from injury, I just think that there is some truth in the rumours. Hope I am proved wrong.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mata is great retaining position and threading balls through loaded defenses but is poor defensively so he will play against team that sit back and defend in numbers but will probably be benched against teams that attack us. Its a squad game, horses for courses etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

If that's the case, why didn`t he play against United?

Agree0 Disagree0

Chelsea have said he's staying. mourinho has said about 10 times now he's staying. mata has said he's very happy at chelsea. why would we sell him.

It really does make me laugh, last season when Lamps was scoring goals and it didn't look like he'd get a new deal people were threatening to riot if he wasn't here for at least another year! This year loads of the same people are going on about dumping him out of the team! Always said it - football is a very fickle game!

He had a good game last night! Maybe those who say he is only good if he scores a goal don't know what someone having a good game looks like; unless they score a goal!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Disagree he had a good game when ramires got sent off, before that he was rubbish. Watch the game again. And then he played well because they just came at us so he defended which is all he could do. I love lamps but he should have been replaced this year.

Agree0 Disagree0

He has kinda been replaced, Van Ginkle has been brought in and appears to be a successor to Lamps, he's still a young lad and couldn't have been put in against either Manchester United or Bayern. He'll defo be playing instead of Lamps more and more as the season goes on though.

Have to agree to disagree on last nights performance. He sat deep, along with most of the team, for the whole game and defended well. When we counter attacked most of our best situations came from switching the play, often it was Lampard switching the play and finding the player in space. Have to say Luiz also did this very well when he stepped out of defence.

Hi eds was reading that psg are willing to let sakho go have chelsea shown any interest. Hope were not finished yet in window thought we played well last night but still think we could do with another cb dcm and at a push a striker. Glad to see luiz back as well though, that pace at back goes along way torres finish was good aswell, long may that keep going. {Ed002's Note -

Nice to see that spurs are the first club to cotton on to the Chelsea blueprint of buying the young European and South American talent. It's taken a long time for a team to follow Romans vision of actually spending money on good talent for the future. Another three or four years of doing the same and getting experience in Europe ie playing the very top teams like bayern and Barcelona, and they might challenge for the top prizes.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Modric and bale don't count then
