Is Niklas Sule one of the centre half we're looking at?

I listened to Ed002's Everton podcast, and if I recall correctly Ed stated that we indeed hold an interest in Sule. However, Ed also said that Sule is happy at Hoffenheim and will stay there for another couple of years in all probability.
It's a shame, because he looks really good for a young defender.
Imagine a future back 3 of Zouma, Christensen and Sule. It's the stuff of dreams.

Zouma and Sule aren't the greatest on the ball think there's only room for one of them. If we are going for a CB it should be Romagnoli. Good on the ball and it'd be nice to have a left footer on his natural side.

He might not be left footed, but Sule is really good on the ball actually.

Looks great in possession to me. Agree with the point in general.
{Ed002's Note - Sule is of interest to Chelsea but does not want to be bench fodder elsewhere. He is well respected in Germany and is seen as a potential first team centre back at Chelsea, but the club will not give game time commitments to players. So it will be a hard sell but the club will look to do something if they can.}

Is Christensen not a ball playing back? He looks better than Cahill on the ball, but I have not seen enough of him to say that for sure.

Sule should be realistic. He might not play 100% of the games, but he's got to be confident of beating out Cahill as competition for a place. And hopefully we'll have some European football next season which would give us plenty of games to rotate and give everyone a good amount of time on the pitch.
