Use our rumours form to send us chelsea transfer rumours.

Lots of rumours about interest in Pulisic today. Very good player but I don't think he's worth 65 million and not a great upgrade on Willian. I like Pedro as an impact player he will be good in that role under Sarri.

Willian should go. For me it's got to be Bailey we go for. His price will skyrocket after this season he's got unreal potential. And we desperately need a left footed player in the squad to give us another dimension. Pulisic from what I've seen doesn't have great end product and lots of Chelsea accounts on twitter see him as a great signing for marketing in the US.

I mean c'mon? We need to be concentrating on getting players who are better than signing them to sell shirts.

Bailey over Pulisic for me. Sell Willian, use Pedro and CHO as great back up options.

Pulisic is a very great prospect and another year starting most games will also see his price sky rocket. Whilst his goals and assists stats aren’t the best, from what i've heard he’s usually involved quite a bit in the build up of goals.

Good point Fuser but we have Jorginho and Cesc for the build up. We desperately lack a proper goal scoring winger like a Griezmann or Salah to take the pressure off Eden or even convince him to stay. Bailey just looks like he’s going to be a beast. And we don’t have a left footed winger either we definately need one.

Luiz wants to stay, Willian wants to stay, Hazard will stay, Kante will stay. RLC back training early. Jorginho the buy of the Summer so far. Hudson-Adoi looks a player. Team looking sharp and Sarri will bring possession based attacking football without negativity. 1 or 2 to come in and we go again. Half full and cheers to all you positive blues out there.

Hi g8 mate half full as usual but what is everyones obsession with rlc I'd prefer Barkley I just think rlc is totally overhyped I would love him to be next ballack but I just don't think he has the work ethic.

30 Jul 2018 23:17:44
Hi Bakayoko, Thanks. You make a great point, Ross Barklay is looking really sharp and may prove a brilliant signing. I would start Jorginho, Kante and Barklay in a midfield 3 with Cesc, RLC and Bakayoko as the back ups.

30 Jul 2018 23:24:07
I think RLC gets too much stick for his effort, or lack of effort. If he plays then he needs to be given free reign to wonder (casually) into spaces between the attack and midfield where he can create and link play. His game, which is very good btw, just isn't about running around putting a shift in off the ball.

His lack of effort isn't the problem, it's whether Sarri's system will account for that style. A team, to a certain degree, does have to carry him without the ball, but he can repay that when he gets on the ball it's wether he can repay it enough in Sarri's mind.

Conspiracy of the day. wait for it.

Ed002 is actually Jose Mourinho. yeah, it might sound crazy, but give me a minute.

1. Ed002 is continuously slamming the cities of Liverpool and Manchester, cities that Mourinho is not a fan of.

2. Ed002 is very in the know with transfers and the targets of all clubs, just like the biggest manager in the world would be.

3. Ed002 and Jose Mourinho have never been spotted in the same room. honestly, both celebrities and neither spotted in the same room, getting quite obvious now.

4. Ed002 has repeatedly stuck up for ‘Mr Mourinho (as he calls him, or himself. ) and labeled him one of the nicest guys in Football, when the majority thinks otherwise.

5. Ed002 has stated he supports chelsea and it is well documented that Mourinho loves chelsea.

6. Ed002 and Mr Mourinho are both sour at chelsea, possibly due to the fickle fans and the current players at the club. So could it be true?

Absolutely, Ed002 and Jose Mourinho are one in the same ladies and gentlemen. Jose Mourinho (Ed002) is the greatest manager in Chelsea history. Respect the man!

I mean. the facts are right there so who am I to disagree. I regret my post about Jose and his 3rd season meltdown now.

30 Jul 2018 15:18:57
and that’s exactly it, Mr Mourinho believes that we don’t respect him and therefore we don’t deserve his service. We just need to make it clear to Him we all greatly respect him, and it’s just the minority giving us a bad name.

Its alright Ed, we love you.

Ed, is that the real reason for your (Mr Mourinho) meltdown at present. because you want to be here with us? Hopefully you’re edding (see what I did there) through the Man Utd exit door as we miss you dearly!

{Ed002's Note - I rather suspect that Sarri will do a very good job over the next 24 months.}

Unfortunately none of the issues I politely asked for help below on were attended to by anyone. It only adds to the sense that no one; and I mean no one, has a clue about what is going on at the club.

The constant sense of uncertainty this summer is horrendous. 11 days until the window closes and, as it stands, there is nothing on Hazard's situation (club's most valuable asset) and Courtois's ( IF he goes, what is being done about an adequate replacement) . Waiting to speak "face to face" is a cop out and possibly a club line spun to Sarri. It is also a way of justifying getting sub standard replacements' due to "not having adequate time to replace".

It really does feel like the last few windows, where reporters are regurgitating the same stories written in different ways over and over again due to having no idea as to what
the club is doing. "In talks for Rugani, Interested in Higuain, Have a number one target if Courtois leaves". If, if, if.

It has got to a point where I have no expectation that anything will be done in the next 11 days'. Again, I use the example, surely the club knows what Courtois wants, why therefore can they not be making a comprehensive effort to acquire a replacement of similar or potentially similar quality instead of "waiting to speak face to face" and using that as an excuse to go to plan c. That will be the only option left at that point.

When a buyer tries to dictate the price from the seller, no matter what in life, it always will end going nowhere, the tail does not wag the dog.

There seems to be a pattern over the last six years (since Hazard, the last time we signed a truly tier one talent) . One thing is being an outstanding business executive; another is being an effective football executive.

It would help not having to put up with speculation over possibly being sold also, which is another issue which has, and probably will not, be clarified officially.

It would just be nice to have some final clarity on a number of issues which are going to have a direct impact on the short and long term future of the club.

{Ed033's Note - Sounds like it's the end of the world.

30 Jul 2018 15:02:46
Maybe wait until the end of the transfer window and then you'll have your clarity. The club doesn't have a duty to keep us informed with the ins and outs of how it's run. Be patient and then you'll see the outcome. No point in moaning before a ball has been kicked.

Agree2 Disagree0

30 Jul 2018 15:03:32
. does it really bother you THAT much?!

It strikes me that you’re worrying about things that are not in your control, therefore you have no influence over any potential outcome.

Take a step back and wait to see what happens. what will be will be.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jul 2018 15:25:01
The club never puts out that sort of information about transfer targets. I don’t think any do really except for a few which have very active presidents such as Napoli etc. Just because Sarri says that he wants to speak to Courtois doesn’t mean the club aren’t actively looking for a replacement or aren’t already in ‘advanced talks’ with a possible replacement. I’m afraid you’ll only get the answers to your questions by the end of the transfer window and maybe not even then in regards to hazard.

Even if nothing happens over the next 11 days, we have a squad strong enough to compete in all competitions throughout the season. This is a team that romped the league 2 seasons ago. Now put this team with an attacking manager that will suit players like Hazard, Willian, Fabregas, Barkley and Pedro. Not to mention a centre midfield pairing of Jorginho and Kante (which could possibly become the best in Europe) Then we have great youth coming through with Hudson-Odoi, Ampadu and Loftus-Cheek. Teams will be scared to play us. There is literally nothing to worry about!

Not taking the 'no news is good news' approach then CFC5091?

We'll sign players, or we won't sign players.

We'll sell players, or we won't sell players

Roman will sell the club, or he won't sell the club.

The world will keep on turning, and Chelsea Football Club will keep on playing football - maybe even on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 1945 GMT!

G8: Sorry some on here must keeping forgetting it's your site and only your blue tinted view of the club counts. Clearly if it doesn't go the way you think it should you'll be in tears again, dump the Chelsea pyjamas and bed clothes and grow into the adult word and remember it is not your site and every opinion counts whether you like it or not.

Maybe he saw how well Barkley has been playing and realised he needs time to show Sarri what he can do.

You'd like to think Bakayoko has made the club realises big money transfers guarantee nothing. But Loftus-Cheek also needs to recognise that there's no such thing as a guarantee at Chelsea, he'll need to earn playing time.
