Just my opinion on the CHO moving to Bayern. If I'm honest I think he will go if a bid is accepted. my reason for this stems back to pre season. He was heads and shoulders our best player, the media, the manager and all of social media hyped him up. I believe he probably expected to get more game time because if it, and rightly so. and then a massive anti climax, to barley feature for the first team at all after some amazing performances. He probably feels "what more could I do" couple that with Jadon Sancho breaking into the England squad and our history of, I guess hindering youngsters coming in leaves me to believe he is off. I, myself feel he should have been given more time, he absolutely proved himself in pre season. Don't get me wrong I'm not a football manager nor do i know what goes on behind closed doors. im just a fan looking from the outside but If your good enough your old enough. I really do feel we have a world beater, superior in talent than Sancho but I also don't blame the lad if he does move on.

I’m not sure he is good enough YET but I would like to see home given more match time as the season progresses.

Also I would like to see him on the pitch with the first eleven not players who rarely make the team. If that makes sense.

Very good post. CHO showed in pre season that he can mix up with the best, he was one of our best players back then. In my opinion, he is more than good enough to play. he is a special talent. I don't understand how he isn't seen good enough and why Willian is constantly favoured over him. He needs a chance. This one will be biting us up the back side really hard if he leaves. more than others because as fans we all know his got it all.

Our track record for young players is abysmal. RLC is literally forcing himself to be picked, he can't do anymore than score goals and probably has more goals than the other CMS put together and yet his not a starter?

I think as a club we are poor at integrating young players into main team and are more inclined to buy players that other clubs develop.

I would have to say yes, he would. the German league is less competitive, yes bayern are not in the best of form granted but with their aging wingers there is definitely plenty of opportunity for him.

Jeremie boga was our best player pre season with conte and where is he now, let’s not judge “ superstars “ in meaningless pre season v unfit squad rotated players, CHO can be good player but we haven’t seen near enough to know for sure, hopefully he stays and turns into a sane sterling type rather than a kakuta or boga.

I think they see him as replacing robben/ Ribery. Plus the German league is so much easier and he will become an 80-100 million star there.

Matt Martin, what you’re forgetting is momentum. Boga has momentum and had that stripped when cahill got stupidly sent off against. Burnley opening day.

We can’t play CHO with the bench players and say he isn’t good enough when the team struggle. He’s someone that could come on and make a difference in the 60th minute when Willian needs a break. We need to see him on the bench from now on with one striker and 2 mids. We don’t need two strikes or 3 midfielders or 4 defenders on the bench. It’s vital.

Boga had enough momentum when played week in week out on loan, I see no superstar, and I don’t want to hear that championship or lower leagues doesn’t help players, mount does ok and dele Ali was a star at mk dons, we have a tendency to over hype our young players, it’s about attitude, as much as skill, I think he will stay and fight personally, or sign a deal and go Germany on loan to get regular time, win win.

Not just that Darren, they love him and have gone to the extent of saying Spurs are the biggest club in London. Not only are we two points behind, we have won 2 leagues, fa cup, league cup etc whilst poch has won a big fat ZERO with a very good team.

yes we are there about to enter a brand new stadium with a fantastic squad which theyv spent very little assembling and aren't in fear of there only star being sold like us because they have more dan 1 star. if hazard goes our team is bang average. wev an agening team with willian pedro david luiz giroud fabregas cahill etc. my opinion is spurs are in a much better position than us right now as much as it gauls me to say it.

Regardless of the above, we have more quality than spurs all day long. It's just a striker that we lack. Our team is quality.

i no what u meant mdw just saying they are in a far betrer position than us over all. i think they have 3 really top cbs in alderweirald vertonghen and sanchez. deli alli ericksen son kane . 7 absoloute top players . theyd walk into our team. we can't say the same . hazard or kante are d only 2 whos walk into der team. i think once there stadium is sorted and they start spending theyl go up a level again. not sure about us our transfer action last few seasons has been absoloutely embarrassing buying bamg average players even 31 year old bench players off teams like arsenal is just embarrassing for a big club like us.

Ummm, not sure about only Kante and Hazard - I would include Azpi, RLC, Kepa and I think Rudiger is better than Sanchez - also, in Ampudu and CHO we have 2 potentials that Spurs can't match.

Just wanted to add a shout out in praise of Dave's performance and tracking energy levels today. He does seem to be getting back to best. Missing accuracy of crosses still perhaps, like the ones that used to find the head of Morata (tricky when Morata not playing, or playing so poorly as when on pitch today! ) . But energy and determination in tracking, tackling and blocking great again.

Dave was superb it’s not many times you play palace and was Saha playing. Felt Barkley did well but I agree he needs to go forward more. Thought Willian and giroud were our worst two players.

Dave Aspi - a World class performance today - put Zaha is his top pocket in the first few minutes and never let him out again.

But it is coming to something when our main goal threat is N'Golo Kante!

Agreed and had done a post praising Dave - not yet up as I write this - and then read your one! Giroud unlucky not to be on score sheet today to be fair, but Morata looked poor when on and we do need to strengthen that threat with proven striker in January as we'd all want given Morata's form this season and Giroud not usually scoring many.

Agree. Thought we dominated but if I’m picking faults we never get anyone speeding to the byline to get crosses in the box. Giroud and even morata are excellent in the air and we are not playing to their strengths so it’s no surprise they are not scoring as many goals. So many times we have good play to get to opponents box and then slow down leaving the opposition to organise themselves. We played well in terms of possession but we are our own worst enemy and do not attack spaces in behind often enough.

I agree we do need wide players with chalk on their boots. It would help if they had pace and can cross as well.

David Luiz passing hasn't been good so far, alonso's reaction hasn't done him any favours and has to be careful for 80min, Williams first touch was back to a palace defender and Giroud is acting like a pinball as every touch is trying to first time pass to hazard. his strengths holding the ball up. I worry that palace sit too deep and we start getting further and further up and leaving space for a counter.

A lot better luiz, and a player running from deep behind, got the goal this time but at very worse it forces palace to defend the ball and stretches, need more direct play, movement off the ball, Alonso made a brilliant run when luiz found kante,

I remember Barcelona being interested in Carlton Cole when he was about the same age as CHO - difficult to assess an 18-year-olds development.
