The rumors around the pool at the moment is we are to Put a bid in for Torres in jan what do you chelsea supporters think would you be bothered if he left?

Torres as great as he was is not the same player Liverpool bought in 2007. At that time he was in his prime. At LFC he became one of the most lethal strikers on the planet and arguably played some of the best football he ever played in his career. But after winning the Euros and World Cup and then suffering a career changing injury he not only never recovered physically but mentally as well. Torres is no fool, he knows that his days at the top level are finite and he can't be chasing a top four position at his age or condition. He needs to know he's guaranteed to be playing in top competitions because he doesn't have the fight in him or ability any longer. My money is on a swift return to Spain. I'm sure will see glimpses of greatness again but it will never be on a regular basis and to say he is the best striker in the league is just plain wrong. I could name half a dozen that wipe the floor with Torres every week.

Its not a collective thing when he misses chance after chance,glaring sitters as well,not half the player he was at Liverpool,far better strikers about,get shut.

Everyone always seems to say these kinds of things about torres, it is not one particular player or even torres himself that is causing him to play badly, it is the collective effort of the team that is the problem

I agree Torres is not getting the service he needs, we have bought in Mata and Meriles and its a step in the right direction but we still need more creativity for us to be able to get the best from Torres.

To the above post, I'm assuming u know Torres personally as you seem to know what he and his family are thinking! The bigger picture is creativity and not Torres, I think your the one that needs to look at the bigger picture.

"The best striker in the league" you are of course having a laugh. There are way better strikers than Torres. When will you open your eyes and see he's not happy here and I think he will be off back to Spain before too long. Would you stay in a city that your wife and kids were not happy in with a team that you didn't fit in with? Yes look at the bigger picture.

Torres needs delivery. Stop attacking him and look at the bigger picture which is our midfield is defensive and not attacking.

Torres is quality it's our ability to create chances that's the problem and not Torres.

No way should we sell the best striker in the league

The only way i see us selling Torres is if a few things happen.

1. Malaga, Anzi or PSG bid £40m+
2. Drogba Goes to AC Milan and We Buy Pato for £20m+
3. Lukaku Doesnt Go On Loan
4. Torres Form Is Poor From Now Until January.

If all these points are possible then that is the only way i can see Torres even closely moving a way from Chelsea
