If athletico don't qualify for next phase in champions league will that have impact on them selling / buying. Will it be a big deal to the club financially eds?

Griezmann or Saúl would do nicely.

Haven't posted in a while, sorry for the long post. Whilst things aren't massively rosie at the moment the headlines about sackings etc. seem to be a regurgitation of last year's headlines after the Arsenal and Liverpool losses when the press made things out to be just as bleak.

The system isn't the problem, it works - it won us the league last season. Consistency of performances and players used is a problem. Azpilicueta, Luiz and Cahill we're our three CB's last season, they were cemented in and performed consistently well. The three at the back have moved around too much, there needs to be changes to enable players to remain fresh but I'm not sure Conte knows his best three. For me it's - Azpilicueta, Christensen, Luiz.

I bashed Moses a bit last season, I don't think enough has been made of how much we've missed him this season. His work ethic alone made us more solid down the right. Alonso is decent, but he's not the answer. It was clear we wanted to strengthen the left in the the summer - it's clear this should be a priority in January.

Can't get Kante back soon enough - obviously. Bakayoko gats a bashing every now and again, but he was bought to play alongside Kante, not instead of him. When Kante returns I'd like to see him in a midfield three with Bakayoko and Drinkwater for a while - keep things solid.

Morata has looked off the pace since coming back from injury. Has he mentally fully recovered from that injury and was he rushed back? Looks that way to me, but he and Hazard remain our best creative and goalscoring options. Batshuayi is great of the bench but we need another option to play from the start. Personally I wouldn't pull the trigger on this in January - unless it involved Tammy Abraham coming back early.

Batshuayi has to stay he is not worse player than Morata. Bakayoko was overestimated he can't play next to Kante (simply doesn't have quality) (absolutely overrated, don't forget that he played DM not CM at Monaco) . Drinkw ater is the partner for Kante (proven partner) (it doesn't have to be superstar, simply 2 players must have chemistry) .
It's a truth about CDs. I'm not sure which 3 are the best option.

Am i the only one that doesn’t believe this Contebis going get sacked rumors. I mean please tell me why this is even a topic, fourth in the league still very very likely to get out of our group, quater finals of the cup. The board failed to get the right players in, everyone could see the thin squad we had at the end of the window we settled for quantity over any quality, let’s be honest we didn’t improve our starting eleven not even in one position so please tell me how Contes job is on the line?

Well I got one blame him for certain selections, like Cahill and Willian, would rather Christensen grows and we lose games, same goes for Musonda. Other than that I think the summer we had is to blame. If they as much as think of sacking one of the better managers and en we’ve had in the locker room I’d be devestatee not just as a Chelsea fan but a football fan. His head should not be on the line whoever’s choice it was not to improve the starting eleven should.

Conte is the best manager that Chelsea had in a long long time. He knows why this and not that player because there are many things that we do not know and they concern fitness, form, health status etc.
