He wont get the chance with oscar hazard mata and marin

Agree0 Disagree2

De bruyne is a better centre mid than winger. He plays centre mid for Bremen and did a lot at genk and belguim national. Lampard a replacement. BLUEBOY1

Again, yet another thing i have to slate RDM for, he is only giving game time to these players we would have to rely on in case of injury once a month in cup matches. A regular sub of cesar, romeu, Marin/Moses in epl matches especially when we're ahead would help them to be more match ready.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

To be fair, how many games have we been winning comfortably at say the 60 minute mark? Not that many.

I'd rather we won games than bedded in youth at the moment to be honest. They'll have their opportunities.

Here's hoping we can get back to playing football. Im sick and tired of all the controversy around the club right now, we bumble from one incident to another. What next ?

Gonna have to start watching the Football league show to see how Nathaniel Chalobah plays......heard brilliant things about this boy. Also need to see how Sam Hutchinson and Josh Mceachran do for Forest and Borough. Then I'll be watching Bundesliga highlights to see KDB play for Bremen........Gotta say guys, the future looks bright

Hutchinson is out with a reoccurrence of his knee injury mate. His recovery is not going all that fast from all accounts.

Luiz is a defensive liability.
He can not produce a long pass and gives the ball away far too much.

cahill and Terry our best parntership.

Headly uk

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Good lets sit Luiz or sell him so our defence can be much better.

A good time to get Marin a bit of action! Moses to start with Marin coming off the bench. DJ

Agree5 Disagree0

ED,

Do u know the line up for tomorrow ... will Marin get some play time

Derek {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what it will be Derek. Sorry.}

Agree0 Disagree1

It doesnt mata :-)

See what i did there?

I used the last name of Juan Mata in a sentence as if i was saying the word 'matter'. So i said 'It doesn't matter', expressing the fact that i don't think we will miss Juan Mata. But i spealt it how you would spell his name Juan Mata. So the sentence was 'It doesn't mata'!! I beleive its called a 'pun'.

Comedy Genius i know.

SAF supporting Clattenberg,is there a more hypocritical person on the planet ! Suarez,Terry get charged of using foul language,he barks they are guilty then Clattenberg, his drinking mate, gets charged with the same thing then he barks he is innocent. Is their a limit to this personic person's madness!.Just a crazy stupid person.

HESKEY-I was just making a point of him gonna score more goals than Torres but obviously his link up play will be woeful but yeah I like torres but just making a point
BERISHA-actually a decent player to be honest but would obviously not cut it in a league far better than the league I visit (I live in aus) and would be crap but I was just stating he is a good player aus
GIGGS-I was being as negative as anybody can be as I was so disappointed with our modfeild against united but after a while I realised it was ROMEU first game of season and am disappointed in my self for being a cocky little bast***

According to a poll by chelsea fc official magazine ..

didier drogba is the greatest chelsea fc player ever

thoughts?

taby

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Top 5 definately

Agree3 Disagree1

Tough competition from terry, lampard, zola etc. Id go for terry. From 2004 to 2010 he was the best centre half in the world

Jordan

Agree3 Disagree1

I voted for Zola

Blue25

Agree3 Disagree1

The importance of his goals and mr cup final himself I'd agree that drogba no1
Drogba
Terry
Lamps
Zola
Hasselbaink
I'm 24 so these are players I've really seen
Mattm

Agree2 Disagree1

Just goes to show how many REAL chelsea fans are out there and not just the ones who jump on the bandwagon

for me
Zola
Di matteo
cole
le bouff(spelling)
are all well before him
Chris the REDman

Agree2 Disagree2

Chris i wouldn't have RDM on the list, i'd say Dan Petrescu gave us more than him as a player. RDM was quality but injuries did limit his game time. Mine would be, in no order:

Zola
Drogba
Wise
Terry
Lampard

Terry, Lamps and Drog, all massive parts of our most successful spell in history. Zola, just pure quality. Wise was our best captain until JT, and he was a great player.

OsgoodIsKing

Agree1 Disagree2

Those are the exact players I was thinking of Osgood. Petrescu was absoloute class. Le saux was also good then. Must say I remember pat nevin and kerry dixon were my heroes when I was a boy. But like you said, wise was a grest captain. Remember when we done Galatasarye 5 -0 at there ground. He was excelent that night.

transfer outs
-torres
-sturridge
-mikel

transfer ins
-heskey,come on guys,4 goals in 4 games,he still has class
-beresha-seriously, great player for brisbane roar,a beast, search him up on youtube , he is class
-giggs, you saw yesterday his class, great goal and passing and he will be free as his contract runs out next year so i think we should buy him

berisha could be second fiddle to heskey and giggs beside ramires and that's £50 million in and free transfers for the rest :) this team will win titles

I've just got to say what a great job Robbie is doing regaurding transforming the team in less than six months our style of play has evolved average age of squad massively reduced the so called old gaurd are being intergrated rather than dominating our youngsters Josh chabbalah kdb courtoius and lukaku all getting match time and rave reviews , where all the signings weren't robbies he looks to be moulding them into a harmonious squad even mikel looks like he is maturing into the player we brought , if we can get Nando or a replacement scoring 20 plus goals a season and sort capacity of stadium out we could be the Chelsea roman has always wanted a team everybody wants to watch and in the headlines for footballing reasons ,
Very contented Chelsea fan at the moment

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Do you really believe its down to Di matteo? I don't for one second because Wednesday night we looked just the same as under avb, so stop kidding yourself. It's down to the amzaing tactically gifted players of mata hazard Oscar. This is why he won't start azpilicueta, Marin or Moses because it will show. BLUEBOY1

Agree3 Disagree0

02 Nov 2012 02:37:26
I was really happy Di Mattion showed some balls and tried out Oscar in the pivot against united, he looked superb and add'd alot more forward and control to the midfield aswell as defensive than Mikel. I could really see him be playing there as a 2nd position especially against less physical teams, where Mikels strenght might not be such a huge advantage.
I would hope to see him playing there against Swansea and look how it goes, and maybe give Marin, Piazon or Moses abit of playing time. I have no doubt he and Ramires/Romeu would boss the midfield around in such a match and dictate the game completly.
One thing i could fear is if he for instance was in the pivot against Stoke, where i am sure Mikel with his 'bull like strenght' would a much better than choise than him.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Mikels strength hasn't ever been important, he doesn't even tackle well

Agree6 Disagree4

Mikel is underrated constantly on this site. Chelsea are a top European club not a Sunday league side. Do you not think that if he truly was as bad as a lot of people make out that he would have been replaced already. The people running the club aren't persons, they're there for a reason.

Perhaps given his recent improvement and good performances we could just get behind him? Rather than whining that he should be replaced by Romeu isn't at the same level yet.

IB.

Agree7 Disagree3

02 Nov 2012 13:44:23
Agree IB! Romeu needs bedding in slowly! No matter what you lot think Mikel will be one of the first names on the team sheet so get used to it! Plus he's been offered a new 5year deal, so the poeple that brought Hazard,Oscar and mata to the club must think highly of him! Its not like we cant afford to replace him, the guy has won a lot of things with chelsea so give the guy a break!

p.s I would like to see oscar and ramires in the pivot a bit more against the so called weeker teams! DJ

Agree3 Disagree2

Well IB Romeu is never gonna be on the same level if he is never gonna get any games at all. You could just see yesterday he made many stupid mistakes he clearly wouldnt have made it he had some games in his legs, Mikel has improved very much this season but Romeu still have some different qualities Mikel never wil have.

Agree1 Disagree2

I'm not suggesting that Romeu should never play. But Mikel will be the regular in that role. Romeu wil be used occasionally, but will have a good chance during the ACoN. He'll get his chances, up to him whether or not he performs.

IB.

Agree1 Disagree1

He isn't good enough for a top European side. He wouldn't walk in at Madrid, barca, united, city, Milan, so why us? He wouldn't even start at Porto or Lyon. He's bellow average of what we need. Passing is terrible, he doesn't tackle proply, his positioning is ridiculous, and he's 6 ft something but can't head the ball. Back players that make a difference, not players you feel sorry for, he's still the same Mikel we signed 7 years ago. Not improved an inch. Not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sorry but I don't think we're watching the same player. Your view of him is extreme. Try paying closer attention to him in the next few games.
