I am a Chelsea supporter all my life and ideally they win and win but we all know that does not happen and when they are out of anything I will always support the English team or if miracles happen, the British team. I can never understand why anyone would want to see Real Madrid win the Champions League when our own league are represented. As someone pointed out, I am old school maybe old fashioned but Liverpool every time.

But Liverpool scoresd more, same with Barcelona Second leg, Man City, united etc etc etc, if we go on front foot bit more we’d have secured top 4, seeing a team go out to score and win is nice to see.

Liverpool and Real Madrid are 2 out of 3 my most hated clubs. Don't even know who will be better to win it. Either way one team supporters will talk about how good they are while others will win UCL 3 years in a row (and this time completely undeservely)

At the start of the season a lot on here were happy to see Matic sold. I wasn't in that group who wanted him gone, because he might not catch the eye or ever look like he's doing much. But the job he does in midfield is priceless.

I think we've found that out this season, we have no true physical presence in midfield, no matter how good Kante is he can't control a midfield single handedly.

Bakayoko hasn't been good enough, Drinkwater hasn't had the game time, and unless we're controlling possession we might as well be playing with 10 men with Fabregas in the team.

When we look at our past teams we've always had that physical player in midfield. Whether that be Matic, Essien, Ballack or even someone like Mikel.

This summer we need someone to beef up our midfield in my opinion, who might that be I'm not sure.

Loftus Cheek looks like the perfect player, it's just a question if he gets a chance and can show the right attitude/ commitment.

Who would you guys like to see in our midfield?

Bobby, RLC looks more like a No10 to me although I haven’t seen enough of him this season but for me, when he played for us last year he looked slow and his work rate was poor.
Bakayoko hasn’t been the success we all hoped for and I wouldn’t have sold Chalaboa but I gues he wanted regular playing time.
Last year Morata was bang average and from reports he wanted to leave. He certainly would have been betythan Bakayoko this season but I remain hopeful that Bakayoko will come good next season.

What I think we really need is two players either side of Kante who are both technically kid and who can attack and defend. Loftus-Cheek and Van Ginkel are two we already have I would also aim to bring in Milinkovic-Savic and Kovacic whilst offloading Drinkwater and Cesc as they’re two one dimensional.

Yes king Frank rlc and van ginkel next to Kanye would be ok but I don't think savic and kovacic would warm our bench do you.
